Jey Wants An Uso vs. Uso Match At WrestleMania 40

WrestleMania 40 is still more than four months away, but it's already that time of year when fans start to cast half an eye over what matches they want and expect to see on The Grandest Stage of Them All. There's an outside chance The Rock returns to the ring for the first time in almost a decade, and I'm sure WWE has other plans penciled in, card subject to change, of course. Jey Uso also has WrestleMania on his mind and is keen to have an incredibly meaningful, first-time-ever match on the show.

Uso vs. Uso

The idea of an Uso vs. Uso match at WrestleMania 40 is one that has been on the minds of some fans already, and clearly, Jey has been thinking about it too. "It’s my dream match. If this does happen, I’d be so grateful and happy. I would just look at him like look what we doing. Look at this! Those are special moments in the ring," Jey told Billboard (H/T to TJR Wrestling for the transcription).

One half of The Usos says if fans want to see tag team dream matches, then the likes of FTR and The Young Bucks need to go to WWE.

A wedge was driven between the twins on-screen thanks to Reigns. Jey had the chance to dethrone their cousin as both the Undisputed Champion and The Head of the Table. Until that match, Jey thought Jimmy was on his side. Turns out that wasn't the case and his twin brother actually aided in Jey's loss. As Jey pointed out, even though a match between them now seems inevitable, Jimmy has been ducking him ever since.

Rollins Will Do

"That would go down as the number one moment in my career if I get to wrestle with Jimmy in the sold-out Philadelphia in front of friends and family. And I’d beat his ass." It would certainly be a special moment and a potentially fantastic match. Matches where wrestlers know each other well always have a greater chance of being good, and there probably aren't many wrestlers who know each other better than twins who have tagged together for the better part of two decades.

It seems like an Uso vs. Uso match is probably the plan for WrestleMania, but just in case it's not, Jey has a second choice. "If I could pick someone else, I’d probably wanna run it one time with Seth Rollins for that championship." An interesting choice as this weekend, Jey and Rollins will be on the same side for WarGames. With Randy Orton also in there, who The Bloodline wrote off TV more than a year ago while Jey was still in their ranks, the Uso might be the downfall of that group at Survivor Series.
