Jazzy Gabert Claims She Was Bullied Out Of NXT UK
WWE isn't for everyone. That goes for fans and wrestlers. That's why the emergence of AEW and the growth of other promotions like GCW is so important and so good for the business. WWE isn't the only game in town anymore, and wrestlers can make a living elsewhere. Good news for those who don't like WWE's style, and even better news for anyone who has had a bad experience with the promotion.
Bullied Out Of NXT UK
Jazzy Gabert appears to be one of those people. The German wrestler was a guest on Renee Dupree's Cafe de Rene and made some pretty serious allegations against those she shared a locker room with while in NXT UK. Gabert described the experience as the worst of her life, claiming she was bullied by her peers and one of them even targeted her injured neck as a coach turned a blind eye.

“I got really badly bullied and people would try to hurt me and they would on purpose go for my neck,” Gabert explained. “One girl she hit me so hard on my injured back, that my neck snapped backwards and my legs felt numb.” In another incident Gabert was reduced to tears when another female peer gave her a promo to read that included complicated English words, knowing English is her second language and she wouldn't be able to read it.
Refused A Transfer To The US
It all came to a head when Gabert's contract was up for renewal. Gabert asked if she could be transferred to the Performance Center in the US and work on the OG NXT, but was told no. She then asked for more money but was also told no. Since her only option was sign a new deal in NXT UK for the same amount of money, Gabert opted to leave, reluctantly giving up on what seemed like a promising career in WWE at one stage.
Gabert has continued her career away from WWE since but is yet to show up for one of the other major promotions. She's clearly willing to travel and perhaps even move to the US, so maybe we'll see her in AEW one day. As for NXT UK, the promotion's future is somewhat in limbo at the moment. Regular NXT got a complete revamp last year as WWE took a new approach to its developmental brand. It's been business as usual for NXT UK for now, but that might well change in the future.
