Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon faced off in a Street Fight on The Grandest Stage of Them All. On paper this looked like a simple old man brawl for stupid reasons from the past, but the match turned out to be very fun to watch.
It was a hardcore match, with lots of weapon spots and great physical sacrifice by both competitors. The character work was brilliant, especially Vince's, and the storytelling was great as well. This match was much better than expected.
9 Vs. Genichiro Tenryu - SuperWrestle In Tokyo Some (7.50)
On December 12, 1991, at Super World Sports SuperWrestle In Tokyo Some, Hulk Hogan faced off against Genichiro Tenryu. For some inexplicable reason, Dave Meltzer rated this match one and 1/4 stars, but feedback from Cagematch.net users indicates that the match was actually pretty good.
If you want to see Hulk Hogan really try hard in the ring, then you have to see this match. The Hulkster could actually wrestle, and when he did, it was very enjoyable. In the end, Hogan got a big win.
8 Vs. Antonio Inoki - Championship League 1983 (7.60)
Before working for WWE and becoming one of the biggest names in sports entertainment history, Hulk Hogan faced Antonio Inoki on the 28th day of NJPW IWGP Championship League 1983.
The in-ring psychology was amazing, the match was very well-structured, and the spots made sense to build to a very clever finish in which Hogan wins by KO and becomes IWGP Heavyweight Champion. It was an excellent match, worth watching even nowadays.
7 Vs. The Ultimate Warrior – WrestleMania 6 (7.68)
Both Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior were extremely iconic characters, but it's no secret to anyone that they were considered to be average wrestlers. Still, this match at WrestleMania 6 was some of the best work of their careers, it seemed like they were absolutely motivated and managed to deliver a pretty solid match.

6 Vs. The Road Warriors - Wrestlefest In Tokyo Dome (7.82)
On March 30, 1991, at Super World Sports Wrestlefest In Tokyo Dome, Hulk Hogan teamed up with Genichiro Tenryu to face The Road Warriors. This was Hogan's first time wrestling The Road Warriors, so the fans were very interested in this match.
Fortunately, the match did not disappoint. It was a hard-hitting 14-minute affair, with excellent character work from Hogan, Hawk and Animal. The ending wasn't the best, though, as Hulk Hogan and Genichiro Tenryu lost by count out in unconvincing fashion.
5 Vs. Team WCW - Fall Brawl 1996 (8.00)
In the main event of Fall Brawl 1996, Hollywood Hogan and fellow nWo members Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and nWo Sting faced off against Team WCW, which consisted of Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, Ric Flair and Sting, in a WarGames match.
In terms of in-ring action and quality, this match is ordinary, but entertaining. However, the story and the way it was told was fantastic and every man involved played his part to perfection. This was one of the best moments in WCW history, hands down.
