Goldberg Says He's Through Apologizing To Bret Hart
Goldberg says he is done apologizing to Bret Hart.
Hart has accused the heavyweight star of costing him millions of dollars since the fateful kick that ended his career in 1999. Goldberg has apologized to Hart numerous times in the ensuing years, but Bret still hasn't forgiven the former world champion despite two decades having gone by since the incident.

During an appearance on Talk Is Jericho, the former Universal champion was asked whether Hart's continuing enmity toward him hurts his feelings. Goldberg said he could partially relate to Bret's hatred towards him, yet after all these years of attempting to make amends, he has finally had enough.
“Yeah, but I get it. I mean, I understand to a point. But I’m like yeah, 100%. Bret Hart is still up here, man. He’s an idol to anybody and everybody who would have ever been in this business. I’m a human being like everybody else. There was absolutely no malicious intent whatsoever. None. Zero. So does it bother me? Yeah. I’ll take it to my grave," he lamented.
"But also, I gotta say, man. I am kinda at a turning point. I am done saying I’m sorry. I have said it a million times. I am not gonna continue to tear myself down. I’m done. I said I’m sorry. If he can’t accept my apology, it is what it is. You gotta move on. And I’ve moved on. So I won’t be breaching this subject too much more.”
Goldberg Doesn't Think Bret Hart Will Ever Forgive Him
Goldberg spoke about his soured relationship with Hart on The Michael Kay Show last month, stating The Hitman will never forgive him.
"It sucks, I will take it to my grave," he remarked. "I'm sure he will never forgive me, what else can I say? I said I was sorry and that it was unintentional, and it was the furthest thing from my mind a million times. Of the million times, he's come back with, 'Yes, it was intentional, he's a punk, he didn't know what he was doing, he ruined my career.' It sucks."
