Every Hulk Hogan Match At Survivor Series, Ranked From Worst To Best

One of the most polarizing superstars in WWE history is Hulk Hogan. The Hulkster's popularity was unmatched, and whether he was holding the WWE Championship or not, Hogan was a main feature of the Survivor Series. Hogan's synonymous with his success at WrestleMania, but he boasts a healthy 4-2 record at Survivor Series. The Hulkster may have not been the greatest in-ring performer but he knew how to captivate an audience which he did in his matches at Survivor Series.

6 The Hulkamaniacs Vs. The Natural Disasters - 1990

The rivalry between Hulk Hogan and Earthquake continued at the 1990 Survivor Series with Hulk Hogan and Earthquake captains of their respective teams. The Hulkamaniacs were comprised of Hogan, Big Boss Man, Jim Duggan, and Tugboat. They were pitted against The Natural Disasters' Earthquake, The Barbarian, Dino Bravo, and Haku.

Hogan's team got off to a dream start with Boss Man eliminating Haku. Hogan got involved in the match and he took down Earthquake, Barbarian, and Bravo. Bravo temporarily regrouped but the Hulkster eliminated him with a small package. Hogan weathered the onslaught from Earthquake, and he tagged in Tugboat. Tugboat and Earthquake, who were future tag team champions battled on the outside until they got counted out. Ultimately, Hogan and Barbarian battled back and forth as the final two participants. Hogan hulked up and he secured his spot in the grand finale match of survival with a Leg Drop.

5 Hulk Hogan, Tito Santana, And The Ultimate Warrior Vs. Ted DiBiase, The Warlord, Rick Martel, And, Power And Glory - 1990

Hulk Hogan pulled double duty at Survivor Series 1990 after being the sole survivor in his traditional Survivor Series elimination match earlier on in the night. Hogan's tag team partners were fellow survivors Tito Santana and reigning WWE Champion The Ultimate Warrior. They had a two-man deficit as Ted DiBiase, the Warlord, Rick Martel, and Power and Glory were at full strength.

That did not stop Hogan in his tracks as he relished the challenge along with Warrior and Santana. Hogan eliminated Roma and DiBiase from the match. Warrior got the glory as he finished off Hercules with a splash, and Hogan and Warrior celebrated in the ring together in an underwhelming main event.

4 Team Hogan Vs. Team Andre - 1987

The stars aligned in the inaugural main event at Survivor Series 1987. WWE Champion Huk Hogan captained his side which featured Bam Bam Bigelow, "The Rock" Don Muraco, Ken Patera, and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff. On the other side of the ring was Andre the Giant's team comprised of Andre, Butch Reed, King Kong Bundy, One Man Gang, and Rick Rude. They put on a decent match with Reed getting eliminated by Hogan with a Leg Drop within the first three minutes.

Hogan contributed to Rude's elimination, and Muraco picked up the pieces with a powerslam to halt Rude's further involvement from the match. However, fans roared when Hogan and Andre locked horns and slugged it out. Hogan didn't make it to the end which was surprising as Bundy pulled Hogan out of the ring and he got counted out as he was distracted by Bundy. Andre's team prevailed with Andre getting the better of Bigelow.

3 Hulk Hogan Vs. The Undertaker - 1991

At Survivor Series 1991, Hulk Hogan had the honor of becoming the first man to defend the WWE Championship in a marquee singles match at Survivor Series. Hogan had a stern test as The Undertaker was his challenger, and he was determined to take the WWE Title away from the Hulkster.

Hogan and Undertaker's WWE Championship match was average but the Deadman looked strong as he had a lot of offense. This bout was no doubt slow and methodical but Hogan no-sold Undertaker's Tombstone at one point. Ric Flair made his way down to ringside, and he proved to be the difference-maker as he slotted a chair in the ring. Undertaker planted Hogan with a jaw-dropping Tombstone onto the chair, and he marked his first anniversary with WWE by taking down Hogan for his first WWE Championship reign.

2 The Hulkamaniacs Vs. The Million Dollar Team - 1989

For the third year in succession, Hulk Hogan featured in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match at the 1989 iteration of the event. The Hulkamaniacs were led by WWE Champion Hulk Hogan, Demolition's WWE Tag Team Champions Ax, and Smash, and Jake "The Snake" Roberts completed this formidable lineup. Their opponents were The Million Dollar Team captained by Ted DiBiase with The Warlord, The Barbarian, and Zeus participating.

Zeus was hellbent on starting the match with Hogan, and he got his wish with the two battling at the start. However, Zeus got himself intentionally disqualified as he refused to release the chokehold on Hogan. The Powers of Pain eliminated both members of Demolition with Hogan's team weakened. Nevertheless, The Hulkamaniacs got a boost with Powers of Pain getting disqualified for illegally fighting Hogan. DiBiase applied the Million Dollar Dream on Hogan but Roberts broke it up. This match was tons of fun but Hogan got the better of DiBiase with a Leg Drop to become the sole survivor.

1 Team Mega Powers Vs. Team Twin Towers - 1988

The Mega Powers' Hulk Hogan and WWE Champion Randy Savage led their troops into battle at Survivor Series 1988. Hercules, Hillbilly Jim, and Koko B.Ware completed their lineup. The Twin Towers' Akeem and Big Boss Man captained their side with Ted DiBiase, Haku, and The Red Rooster also wrestling in this bout.

Hogan and Savage collaborated well together as the Red Rooster was dropped by Hogan and Savage went airborne with his elbow drop to see off the Red Rooster. However, Hogan was in a spot of bother as Boss Man handcuffed him and he hit Hogan with his trademark nightstick. Ultimately, Hogan was freed by Miss. Elizabeth. The Mega Powers stood tall at the end of the match with Hogan sealing the deal by besting Haku with a leg drop.
