Tattoo culture found its way into wrestling a long time ago. A lot of old-school wrestlers have tattoos, including WWE legends like Harley Race, The Undertaker, and Hulk Hogan. Tattoos can enhance your appearance, or even give you a solid confidence boost. Go to any tattoo enthusiast, and they’ll tell you that it doesn’t matter if the world likes your tattoo or not if you like it.

Now that’s true for the most part, but public figures are always exceptions to these things. They have more eyeballs on them, and they have to worry about their appearance because people won’t stop talking about it. Regarding tattoos, fans didn’t really like the ink on these wrestlers.

10 Cody Rhodes' Neck Tattoo

Cody Rhodes’ tattoo is a great example of those tattoos that most people won’t ever get on their body, but he likes it. Even Brandi Rhodes wasn’t a fan of his neck tattoo, but she’s his wife, so she couldn’t stop him from getting one.

Funny story, there was actually one time Kofi Kingston stopped Rhodes from getting Legacy’s logo inked on his hand and perhaps Brandi could’ve done the same.

9 Darby Allin's Face Tattoo

Darby Allin has a few tattoos on different parts of his body such as his lips, cheek, arm, and now even neck and face. Some of that ink does look good on his body, but most people aren’t really a fan of face tattoos.

While you won’t see that many fans complain about Brock Lesnar’s chest tattoo today, when it was first revealed to the world people made fun of it. There’s an interesting story behind the origins of this tattoo, but to cut things short, Lesnar went to a tattoo parlor next to a bar and got the tattoo, because, at the time, his life felt like there was a knife to his throat.

The tattoo itself isn’t bad, but the style isn’t really common and just a big ol’ sword doesn’t look good on someone’s chest. Now it’s Brock Lesnar, he’s got other awesome tattoos and on top of that he’s a pretty big guy and that’s the reason why this tattoo doesn’t look that bad. It suits his personality, but people still think it was a dumb thing to get permanently inked on his torso.

7 Mike Tyson's Iconic Face Tattoo

Shortly before his fight against Clifford Etienne in 2003, Mike Tyson got his iconic face tattoo which was inspired by New Zealand’s Maori tribe.

Now nobody would say anything bad about this out loud – for very obvious reasons – but again, face tattoos aren’t really common. Tyson actually wanted to get hearts on his face, but later went ahead with a tribal design instead.

Now Mike Tyson may have successfully pulled off a tattoo on his face, but most people can’t. Take Perry Saturn for example, he allegedly doesn’t even remember when he got it in the first place.

He already has a few on his shoulders, forearms, chest, and even belly.

5 Undertaker's Neck Tattoo

Tattoo artists strongly advise not inking someone’s name on your body. One may want to be with their significant other forever, and while a tattoo of their name sounds like a great idea at that time, it’s not. Things can happen, and they may have to separate, but the tattoo keeps reminding them about them, and it’s very easy to regret such tattoos.

Undertaker’s neck tattoo is one of them. He had his second wife’s name tattooed, but then they had their divorce. He later covered it up with a chain.

4 Randy Orton’s Tribal Tattoos

Randy Orton’s forearm tattoos look very good, but back in the day, he used to have only tribal art on his shoulder and forearms. Now a good tribal tattoo is instantly recognizable (take a look at Roman Reigns). There’s an interesting story about his tattoos too.

Orton was 18 at that time when he got the tattoo and he originally wanted to just get an exact copy of Goldberg’s tribal tattoo. His tattoo artist talked him out of it and designed a similar one.

Hulk Hogan has got a few tattoos on his body too, and all of them are just letters. On his upper back, he got the word “immortal” tattooed in all caps, and it’s one of the worst cases of egotism.

We get it, it’s your nickname, but you’ve had several in your career, and that doesn’t mean getting one permanently inked on your body is a good idea. To add some more criticism, the design itself isn’t good.

2 Paige’s Hand Tattoo

Back in 2018, Paige got some new ink. It was actually a small quote “talk sh*t get bit” on both sides of her hand. Anyone who saw that tattoo for the first time said it wasn’t a good idea.

Years later, fans still say the same. It’s one of those brash tattoos that just don’t look good on anyone, even when they’re well done.

Now Batista is a heavily tattooed guy, he's got tribal designs, a dragon, and some quotes. At one point, he also had a belly button tattoo which was the worst. It was just a sun and looked so terrible on a body like his.
