In the Americas, the United States, Mexico, and Argentina stand out as some of the most popular destinations for studying culinary arts abroad. The United States features a tremendous amount of culinary influences (the “melting pot” metaphor can be taken literally). Mexico and Argentina each have more distinct national flavors, which are influential around the world. 

In Europe, France and Italy reign supreme as the culinary giants. While it is of course possible to take culinary courses in most countries across Europe, such as in Spain, Greece, and Portugal, for example, France and Italy are generally considered the most prestigious on the international level. 

In Asia there are a huge diversity of options that await culinary arts students. Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, and India are just a handful of Asian countries that boast internationally renown cuisine. Even within these countries there is a huge amount of culinary variance from region to region!
