The United States features a tremendous amount of culinary influences (the “melting pot” metaphor can be taken literally). Mexico and Argentina each have more distinct national flavors, which are influential around the world.
In Europe, France and Italy reign supreme as the culinary giants. While it is of course possible to take culinary courses in most countries across Europe, such as in Spain, Greece, and Portugal, for example, France and Italy are generally considered the most prestigious on the international level.
