Crew Members Ranked By Most To Least Powerful
The Straw Hat Pirates are by far the most noteworthy crew in the One Piece universe, but how do the members square up in terms of overall power?
The Straw Hat Pirates are among the most formidable pirate crews in the world of One Piece. Not only that, but they're also among the most infamous as well. Owning a culmination bounty of over a billion berries, this crew has a few members that the World Government views as threats.
Each member of the Straw Hat Pirates brings something different to the table, possessing a quirk that makes them useful. They are also varied in terms of power - with some being more powerful than others. Who are the weakest and strongest among them?
10 Monkey D. Luffy
The leader of the Straw Hat Pirates himself, Monkey D. Luffy is also known as the Fifth Emperor of the Sea. He is quite the threat to the World Government - if his over a billion berry bounty is any indication.
Luffy is the only crew member to know all three Haki types - Arnament, Observation, and Conqueror's. He can also use the advanced form of each Haki, with his advanced Conqueror's Haki making him an even bigger threat than before. Oh, and he can stretch his arms and legs at free will thanks to the Gum-Gum Fruit.
9 Roronoa Zoro
Zoro is a supremely talented swordsman, with the goal of becoming the greatest swordsman in the world. While he may not have consumed a Devil Fruit like most of the other Straw Hat pirates, he is a master of the Three Sword Style - a style he created in his youth.
Zoro is a user of all three forms of Haki, and he can even use his Arnament and Conquerer's Haki with his swords. In one particular fight against King, he awoke his Conquerer's Haki and evolved his Three Sword style to create a powerful new one.
8 Jinbei
The most recent member of the Straw Hat Pirates, Jinbei is a former member of the Shibibukai. He is also proficiently skilled when it comes to Fishman Karate, while also having access to Arnament and Observation Haki.
Known to many as the "Knight of the Sea" due to his pirate experience and strength, Jinbei is able to hold his own against anyone who opposes him. He has consistently held his own against the Yonko, and was able to defeat the best that Who's Who had to offer without a single scratch.
7 Sanji
For a chef, Sanji is actually a pretty strong pirate. He is a user of both Arnament and Observation Haki and is a prince of the former Germa Kingdom - which most One Piece fans saw coming from a mile away.
Sanji is a practitioner of Black Leg Style, and he's able to pull off two different techniques with it - Diable Jambe and Ifrit Jambe. Both maneuvers add a little extra flair to his devastating kicks. More recently, he received the Raid Suit, which made him one of the strongest pirates around.
6 Nico Robin
Thanks to the Flower-Flower Fruit, Nico Robin can sprout out and replicate body parts from just about anywhere. With her many limbs, she can easily break her opponents' bones without much trouble and put them in painful submission holds. It's implied that the number of body parts she can duplicate is unlimited.
But that's not all that this archeologist can do. As revealed in the Wano Country Arc, Robin exhibited some Fish Karate and also learned how to Ryusoken martial art, courtesy of Sabo.
5 Chopper
With these Zoan forms, Chopper can unlock his Monster Point - a powerful ability that is essentially a combination of all his other Points. Not only does this form make him a giant, but it also gives him physically stronger and more durable.
4 Brook
Brook may be an eccentric skeleton with a funny afro, musical talent, and a knack for cracking skull jokes (in one of One Piece's best running gags), but there's more to him than meets the eye. In addition to being a capable swordsman, he also has a few soul-related abilities thanks to the Revive-Revive fruit that he ate.
Brook's soul powers, mixed with his music skills and swordsmanship, make him quite the force to be reckoned with. But that's not all that he can do - using his sword, Brook can freeze his foes with the cold of the underworld.
3 Franky
Franky is not only a cyborg - and one who constructed his own body - but he's also a shipwright capable of building just about anything. He studied many blueprints in the past, and that in turn made him the master-builder that he's known for.
In addition to being a wicked inventor, Franky also has a few perks when it comes to combat. His cyborg body comes with an installed laser, and he even has a fighting robot machine named Franky Shogun which is part of the Battle Franky line.
2 Nami
Nami is a true asset to the Straw Hat Pirates, having saved their butts multiple times with her navigation expertise. Some may argue that she is among the weakest pirates in the crew, if not the weakest, but like Usopp, she makes up for it with her shrewdness.
Nami does have a bit of a servant in Zeus - a homie who can fly and produce lightning as a cloud. But when it comes to fighting particularly strong opponents, Nami will often struggle and may even run to avoid a fight altogether.
1 Usopp
Usopp is the Straw Hat Pirates' trusty sniper, and aside from his superb marksman skills, he's pretty weak compared to his companions. Not only that but he's known to act cowardly at times - although he does have a few acts of bravery here and there.
Usopp makes up for his lack of physical strength in his cunning nature, as he can use clever tricks to aid him in battle. He is also a user of Observation Haki and can take quite the beating, able to withstand as much pain as he possibly can.
