Corey Shares Reason His Bar With Evelin Was Destroyed

90 Day Fiancé star Corey Rathgeber shares cheerful photos from his new beautiful restaurant in Ecuador and reveals why he lost his old tiki bar.

Corey Rathgeber from 90 Day Fiancé recently shared pictures of his and Evelin Villegas' new bar and revealed the reason behind their old bar's demolition. Corey and Evelin were first featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1, and they got married towards the end of season 3. The couple had several ups and downs in their relationship, but they experienced the biggest setback when Evelin lost her bar with Corey in mid-2021. However, when she told the news to 90 Day Fiancé viewers, they had a tough time feeling sympathy for her.

Many fans thought that it was Evelin's fault that she lost the bar since she had built her business on a property that wasn't hers. The 90 Day Fiancé star ignored the criticism and didn't let the unfortunate event stop her from achieving her dreams. Just a few months later, the 32-year-old reality star started building her new restaurant and bar around the same area. Finally, in February 2022, Evelin launched her new beachside bar in Ecuador and posted stunning pictures on Instagram. She welcomed 90 Day Fiancé fans into her new bar and revealed that she was so proud to be back stronger than ever.

Now Evelin's husband, Corey, has shared more pictures of the bar on Instagram. He also revealed the reason why the couple's old business was destroyed. He wrote, "It was a very sad day when our bar and Evelin's family's restaurant of 18 years was destroyed." Corey explained that it was someone's jealousy that ultimately destroyed their old bar. He also hinted that the jealous person is a "her." He added, "It was her desire to end and destroy our successful business." The Washington native then talked about how his new restaurant has become even more successful than he imagined.

Although many 90 Day Fiancé fans are bored with Corey and Evelin's storyline on the show, they have taken these pictures kindly and congratulated the couple on their brand-new business. A fan wrote, "Jealousy is a very dangerous thing, but God is stronger!!! Best wishes for a very successful venture." Another chimed in, "Thank god you were able to fund the reopening." Previously, most 90 Day Fiancé viewers thought that Evelin was at fault for building her bar on someone else's land. But now more things have gotten clearer after Corey revealed that it had more to do with someone's jealousy than their own mistake. Still, whatever happened may have happened for a reason. In retrospect, maybe it was a good that Corey and Evelin's bar was demolished because they now have a great new restaurant in a beautiful location. Everything else seems to be working in the 90 Day Fiancé stars' favor.
