Cody Rhodes Launches The Nightmare Factory, A Wrestling Camp

AEW Executive VP and current TNT Champion Cody Rhodes has announced the launch of The Nightmare Factory this fall. A developmental camp for future wrestlers, The Nightmare Factory, which was previously named the One Fall Power Factory, will also be run by AEW star QT Marshall and nutritionist Carolyn Cuellari.

The first camp of 25 men and women, which runs for three months, will start on September 21, 2020. The program will include wrestling lessons, as well as, seminars on HD makeup, the history of American wrestling, and Wrestlenomics, a comprehensive look at the wrestling economy.

The Nightmare Factory, located in Norcross, GA, hopes to welcome the next generation of professional wrestling talent. The facility, spread over 43,000 square feet, includes four wrestling rings and a complete Olympic style weight room. The Nightmare Factory was previously used to film several closed-set AEW Dynamite shows earlier this year.

The curriculum, developed by Rhodes and Marshall, will feature personalized workouts and fitness routines. Students will also be able to work with Cuellari to create meal plans. Aspiring wrestlers can apply for the camp at NightmareFactoryGa.com.

"I've had the best trainers throughout my career, and now I feel a responsibility to pass on the fundamentals and traditions of our sport and entertainment medium to aspiring wrestlers," Rhodes said.

The Nightmare Factory seems to emulate the WWE Performance Center, the official professional wrestling school for WWE. WWE currently operates two Performance Center locations, which provide training for WWE wrestlers, as well as sports science and medical facilities. The first branch in Orlando, Florida, opened on July 11, 2013. The second branch in Enfield, London, opened on January 11, 2019.

The Nightmare Factory, which is limited to 25 participants, is open to men and women regardless of wrestling experience. There will be new camp sessions every three months. The second session is expected to begin in early January 2021. To guarantee the safety of all athletes and staff, temperature screenings and COVID-19 tests will be required to enter the facility.
