Charlotte Flair's 5 Best Championship Reigns (& Her 5 Worst)

Since debuting in NXT in 2013, Charlotte Flair has become the most decorated woman in WWE history. Throughout her nearly 7-year run with the company, Charlotte has accumulated 2 NXT Women's Championships, 1 Divas Championship, 4 RAW Women's Championships, and 5 SmackDown Women's Championships.

Some of Charlotte's reigns have been the greatest title reigns in the history of the WWE Women's Division. But on the other hand, The Queen has had reigns that have disappointed, some being the worst in history. Whether its one of Charlotte's best or one of her worst, they're all part of the legacy of one of the greatest WWE women's wrestlers of all time.

10 Best: NXT Women's Championship - 1st Reign (2014)

When Charlotte first signed with WWE, everyone knew she was destined for greatness, and it didn't take her long to prove that to be right. Not even a year after she debuted in NXT, Charlotte won the vacant NXT Women's Title after defeating Natalya in a fantastic tournament final matchup at NXT TakeOver.

Her reign ended up being the longest of her entire career at 258 days, featuring multiple great matches against Bayley and Sasha Banks. The last match of her reign might have been the most memorable of them all when Sasha Banks won the title from her in a Fatal 4-Way match between the Four Horsewomen at NXT TakeOver: Rival.

9 Worst: Raw Women's Championship - 4th Reign (2016 - 2017)

At Roadblock: End Of The Line, Charlotte defeated Sasha Banks in an iron man match to win her fourth RAW Women's Title. This match effectively ended the months-long feud between the two but Charlotte couldn't build off of it.

Charlotte ended up facing Bayley in her first title defense at Royal Rumble 2017, in a match that fell well below expectations. She and Bayley went to battle again for the title in an epic match on the February 13th, 2017 episode of RAW, which saw Charlotte drop the title after just 57 days. The end of her reign provided a great moment but the reign itself left a lot to be desired.

8 Best: Divas Championship (2015 - 2016)

The Divas Championship represented a bad time for women's wrestling in the WWE, but when Charlotte held the title, it represented change. Charlotte won the Divas Championship from Nikki Bella at Night Of Champions 2015, which began her first title reign on the main roster.

She held the title for 195 days and provided some of the best women's matches WWE fans had seen to date. She successfully defended it against all of Nikki Bella, Paige, Becky Lynch, Brie Bella, and Natalya before the title was retired at WrestleMania 32.

7 Worst: NXT Women's Championship - 2nd Reign (2020)

After winning the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble match, Charlotte announced that she would be challenging Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36.

Charlotte went on to defeat Ripley in a very good match but nothing really came out of her reign. She successfully defended the title only once, still losing the match when she got herself disqualified against Io Shirai, before losing it to Shirai in a triple threat match also involving Rhea Ripley at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

6 Best: SmackDown Women's Championship - 3rd Reign (2019)

On the March 26, 2019 episode of SmackDown, Charlotte defeated Asuka to win her 3rd SmackDown Women's Championship. Defeating The Empress was a great start to her reign and it only got better from there.

Charlotte went on to defend the SmackDown Women's Title in the first all-women main event of WrestleMania at WrestleMania 35 against Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey in a Winner Takes All match. She ended up losing the title, ending her reign at only 12 days. But, what she was able to accomplish during it makes it one of the greatest of her career.

5 Worst: Raw Women's Championship - 2nd Reign (2016)

At SummerSlam 2016, Charlotte defeated Sasha Banks for the RAW Women's Championship. This ended up being one of the worst matches Charlotte and Sasha ever put on and The Queen's reign didn't get much better from there.

Charlotte went on to successfully defend the title against Sasha and Bayley in a forgettable Triple Threat match at Clash Of Champions 2016, which is very disappointing considering the talent level of all 3. Charlotte then lost the title to Sasha in a great match on the October 3, 2016 episode of RAW, but that didn't help this reign from being one of Charlotte's worst.

4 Best: SmackDown Women's Championship - 1st Reign (2017 - 2018)

When Charlotte was moved to the SmackDown brand as part of the April 11, 2017 Superstar Shakeup, it was treated as a huge deal. Her first reign with the SmackDown Women's Championship showed why.

Charlotte defeated Natalya for the SmackDown Women's Title on the November 14, 2017 episode of SmackDown. She went on to defeat Alexa Bliss in a good Champion vs Champion match at Survivor Series 2017 and then fended off a variety of challengers throughout her 146-day reign, with her greatest moment coming when she defeated Asuka at WrestleMania 34.

3 Worst: SmackDown Women's Championship - 5th Reign (2019)

At Hell In A Cell 2019, Charlotte defeated Bayley to win her 5th SmackDown Women's Championship. This was a shocking victory but Charlotte's reign was definitely not anything special.

Charlotte held the title for only 4 days before losing the title back to Bayley on the November 11, 2019 episode of SmackDown. This reign was evidently just to get to Bayley's heel turn and ended up being one of the shortest reigns of Charlotte's career.

2 Best: WWE Women's Championship - 1st Reign (2016)

At WrestleMania 32, a new era of women's wrestling in WWE was introduced as the Divas Championship was officially retired and the WWE Women's Championship was introduced. To crown the first-ever WWE Women's Champion, Charlotte took on Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat match.

The match instantly became a classic and ended with Charlotte getting her hand raised. Throughout her 113 day reign, Charlotte successfully defended the title multiple times against Natalya and then Paige, before losing it in a great match against Sasha Banks on the July 25, 2016 episode of Raw.

1 Worst: SmackDown Women's Championship - 4th Reign (2019)

At Money In The Bank 2019, Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch to win her 4th SmackDown Women's Title. After the match, she proceeded to attack Becky Lynch along with Lacey Evans, which prompted Bayley to come out for the save.

Bayley, who had just won the women's Money In The Bank ladder match, proceeded to fight Lacey and Charlotte off. She then cashed in Money In The Bank on Charlotte and won the title, ending Charlotte's reign at 4 minutes and 55 seconds.
