Becky Lynch's WrestleMania Opponent Will Be Decided Inside The Elimination Chamber

If Shayna Baszler wants a match against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, she will first have to win inside the Elimination Chamber.

WrestleMania is now less than seven weeks away and the card is beginning to take shape. On Sunday night at NXT TakeOver: Portland, Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair finally revealed which champion she will challenge. As expected, The Queen will face Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women's Title. It will be the first time ever that championship is defended at WrestleMania.

As for Becky Lynch, and the Raw Women's Title she won at last year's WrestleMania, it seemed as if her challenger stepped up last Monday. Shayna Baszler jumped Lynch on Raw and bit a chunk out of the back of her neck. Again, the WrestleMania match fans were expecting, it was just a case of WWE making it official.

However, it turns out The Man versus The Queen of Spades has not yet been made official. Far from it. Instead, Baszler's first match as a Raw Superstar, providing she has made the switch and won't wrestle before then, will be an Elimination Chamber match. WWE announced the match ahead of Raw this week as well as all six of its participants.

Joining Baszler inside the Chamber will be Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Asuka, and Natalya. The winner of the match will go on to face Lynch for the title at WrestleMania. The other interesting dynamic in the match is the inclusion of all three members of The Riott Squad. The draft broke them apart, and Riott chose to attack ger former friend Morgan when she returned from injury last week.

As for who will be the last woman standing inside the Chamber, we still can't see past Baszler. None of the Squad members have enough clout to be a part of a match that big at WrestleMania, Nattie feels more like a Raw opponent for Lynch, and The Man versus Asuka is now old news. Chances are Baszler versus Becky is still the plan, the former NXT Women's Champion just has more work to do in order to get there.
