Alexa Bliss Is On A Hiatus From WWE

After a long hiatus in 2022, Alexa Bliss had been on a tear since returning to WWE, winning the Women's Tag Team Championships with Asuka, challenging Bianca Belair to the Raw Women's Championship at the Royal Rumble in a losing effort, and rekindling a storyline with Bray Wyatt that was just in the beginning stages. Then Bliss disappeared. She hasn't been seen on WWE TV since the Royal Rumble in January.According to Dave Meltzer is his latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, "Bliss is on another hiatus for a while." No reason was given, as Bliss and WWE are keeping the details of her absence private. It's not the first time that Bliss is reported to have been on hiatus, as there was also news of her extended time away last month as well, to which Bliss responded to on Twitter.

When Will Alexa Bliss Return To WWE?

While it's disappointing to see Alexa Bliss gone when she was enjoying another successful chapter in her WWE career, it might be the best time for it to happen. With WrestleMania season already packed with several booked women's matches and Bray Wyatt's return being severely underwhelming, a reset return after WrestleMania could be the best option for Bliss to make her comeback.

What will happen when Alexa Bliss does return to WWE though? Will her slow burn storyline with Bray Wyatt continue, or as so often happens in WWE, will it be dropped like it never happened? A shakeup, such as a switch to SmackDown, might also be in the cards, as the Friday night brand is lacking in star power and could for sure use Bliss on their side of the roster.
