A Boneyard match, which took place at WrestleMania 36, garnered attention by delivering arguably the best match of the event. WWE recently produced another cinematic bout at Extreme Rules as Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman collided in a Swamp match. The debate remains as to which one was the better cinematic experience.

10 Swamp Match: The Storyline

The storyline between Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt has been captivating, highlighting the background of these characters. While Stroman is depicted as the Black Sheep of The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt claims to be the creator of the black sheep.

They relived their storied history in the middle of the Swamp match. Given the impressive build-up of the bout, it lived up to the hype.

9 Boneyard Match: The Location

The Swamp match took place in the swamp. Likewise, the Boneyard match was held in a boneyard, making it The Deadman's own playground. However, the set up of the Boneyard match was astounding, as it had an edge over other cinematic bouts.

Undertaker and Styles fought on the top of a wooden house as well as on the ground. Moreover, the lighting was incredible for the match, which was praised by a legion of fans. The best sight of the match was in the climax when Undertaker started his motorbike in front of his sign and left the place while fire burned in the background.

8 Swamp Match: The Shocking Appearance Of Alexa Bliss

The Swamp match had numerous twists and turns, but Alexa Bliss's appearance was certainly the biggest shock of the bout. Wearing black attire, Alexa Bliss seemed to appear as Sister Abigail, Bray Wyatt's sister. Bliss tried to distract Braun Strowman during the match.

With the cameo of Alexa Bliss, the question remains if she is actually Sister Abigail, an off-screen character who has never been introduced by Bray Wyatt.

7 Boneyard Match: More Actions

There is little doubt about the dexterity of AJ Styles and The Undertaker as performers. Whether in the ring or in a cinematic match, they are always expected to deliver an extraordinary match.

The Boneyard match showcased many impressive wrestling maneuvers from both men. Styles was yearning to face a dream opponent like The Undertaker, and he gave his best. Moreover, the involvement of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows made it even more interesting.

6 Swamp Match: It Was The Return Of Bray Wyatt's Old Persona

Bray Wyatt's old persona, The Eater of Worlds, was a frightening character with his dark promos. With the debut of The Fiend last year, his old persona faded away, and the fans assumed that they would never see the latter again.

Nevertheless, Wyatt brought back his old character in the Swamp match, assuring it could happen again in the future. Similar to his previous cinematic match against Matt Hardy, Wyatt didn't disappoint in the Swamp match.

5 Boneyard Match: It Main-Evented Day One Of WrestleMania 36

WWE typically saves the biggest match of the night for the main event of a pay-per-view, especially a gigantic event like WrestleMania. As the Show of Shows was split into two days for the first time in history, the Boneyard match main-eveted the spectacle on the first day of WrestleMania 36.

While main-eventing the Grandest Stage of Them All, the Boneyard match exceeded all the expectations with the quality of the bout.

4 Swamp Match: More Story-Telling

While wrestling was the main focus in the Boneyard match, other distractions stole the show in Swamp match, right from the beginning to the end. First, Strowman had to overcome some masked men, when he went to search for his opponent, Bray Wyatt. The Monster Among Men also came face to face with his doppelganger, who captured him and put him in a chair with chain.

When Strowman was tied with a chain in a chair, Wyatt reminded him of how he was created. In addition, the mysterious woman, who was later revealed as Alexa Bliss, appeared with a Python, making the segment awe-inspiring as well as bone-chilling.

3 Boneyard Match: The Twist

Given The Deadman was fighting in a cinematic match, it wasn't unexpected to see a twist in the match, similar to what he would do in a Buried Alive match or Casket match. Undertaker pulled off an identical twist when AJ Styles appeared to bury him in the ground.

The Phenomenal One put Undertaker in the dirt, thinking he had won the match after burying The Deadman. However, the latter rose up from the grave and surprisingly appeared behind Styles. It was one of the memorable moments of the match, and it also created many hilarious memes on the internet.

2 Swamp Match: The Fiend's Appearance

The Swamp match gave a subtle hint at the end of what's to come when The Fiend showed up to close the show. Turning the swamp water red, The Fiend came out of the water to deliver his evil laughter.

Although Wyatt has won the Swamp match, it is clear that the rivalry will continue. With SummerSlam scheduled to take place next month, The Fiend is expected to fight Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship.

1 Boneyard Match: Undertaker's Last Ride

Not many fans would have guessed that the Boneyard match would be the final match of Undertaker's illustrious career. Even though the fans didn't know that it was Undertaker's final match in WWE, he revealed it eventually in the Last Ride documentary series.

Producing one of the best matches in recent years, Undertaker made his final fight memorable. Furthermore, it was an honor for AJ Styles to retire such a legendary name like The Undertaker.
