5 Opponents For Brock Lesnar To Feud WIth After WrestleMania 36 (& 5 Don't Want)

Brock Lesnar main-evented WrestleMania once again, defending the WWE Championship on day two. After keeping the belt around his waist for six months, he finally lost it to Drew McIntyre. Similar to Universal Championship match on day one of WrestleMania 36, the WWE Championship was also a fast-paced and short match.

With the end of WrestleMania, the fans are wondering what could be next for the former WWE Champion. As Lesnar performs in big pay-per-views, he is likely to return for a big match only. Let's take a look at five WWE Superstars who should next opponents for Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania 36 and five who should not.

10 Should Be Next Opponent: Andrade

Andrade is the reigning US Champion, and he has been the champion for a while. Suffering an injury before the Show of Shows, he didn't participate at WrestleMania 36, and he was replaced by Austin Theory in a tag team match.

Brock Lesnar might be a multi-time world champion, but he has never held the US Championship. In order to win his first US Championship, the Beast Incarnate should go after it, attacking Andrade. If Lesnar wins the US Title, it will certainly lift the prestige of the belt.

9 Shouldn't Be Next Opponent: Ricochet

Ricochet and Brock Lesnar are no strangers to each other, having faced each other at Super ShowDown this year. Although the fans were waiting for a great match, it ended up becoming a disappointing bout. Lesnar needed a couple of minutes to slay Ricochet.

Ricochet has recently teamed up with Cedric Alexander, creating a new tag team. Given their past match in Saudi Arabia, it doesn't make sense to have another match between Lesnar and Ricochet.

8 Should Be Next Opponent: Samoa Joe

Similar to Ricochet, Samoa Joe also had a rivalry with Brock Lesnar in the past. Chasing the Universal Championship in 2017, Joe locked horns with then Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, a couple of times. Despite showing grit of going toe-to-toe with Lesnar, Joe wasn't successful.

Three years later, a non-title rivalry could be exciting between the two heavyweights. Joe is capable of overpowering Lesnar with his submission. If Joe can secure a victory over Lesnar, it could help him to go up the ladder and challenge the WWE Title.

7 Shouldn't Be Next Opponent: Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is currently without an opponent on RAW. However, his last major feud was with Brock Lesnar, which was one of his best feuds in a while. With his son Dominick involved in that rivalry, the fans were invested in that feud, creating a nuclear heat for Brock Lesnar.

As good as their brief feud was, it would be too much of a repeat too soon to get people amped up again.

6 Should Be Next Opponent: Edge

Edge shocked a myriad of fans this year by recovering from a career-threatening injury and returning to the squared circle. After a stellar performance at Royal Rumble, the Rated R Superstar prevailed at WrestleMania 36, conquering Randy Orton in a hard-fought battle.

A number of possible dream feuds are awaiting for Edge and a rivalry with Brock Lesnar should be one of them. Lesnar and Edge had shared the ring once in 2002 when the former was victorious. The scenario is different eighteen years later, and the two legends could steal the show in a new feud.

5 Shouldn't Be Next Opponent: Aleister Black

Coming out with a colossal win over Bobby Lashley, Aleister Black has established his name as one of the dominant Superstars in WWE. With incredible agility and striking ability, Black never fails to entertain the fans. The company has also used him well, as he has just one loss in his career after making his debut in the initial part of 2019.

Black is certainly a future world champion.

Whether his specular promos or in-ring dexterity, he is one of the best in the business. With that being said, facing Brock Lesnar might not be an ideal time for him at the moment. The Dutch Destroyer should face Lesnar after winning a title in the future.

4 Should Face: Drew McIntyre

Well, Drew McIntyre did the unthinkable by pinning Brock Lesnar in the main event of the Grandest Stage of Them All. With the biggest win of his career, McIntyre also became the WWE Champion, his first world title. Having lost the belt at WrestleMania 36, Lesnar might demand a rematch.

Another match between the two men could open the opportunity for Lesnar to reclaim the belt. The feud has been remarkable thus far, and a rematch could be even better. As their last bout was a short one, they would like to deliver a better one if the rematch happens.

3 Shouldn't Face: Randy Orton

Randy Orton has a history with Brock Lesnar, as both men graduated from OVW and entered the main roster in 2002. Their most recent bout was in 2016 SummerSlam, where they main evented the show. Dominating the match, Lesnar won it and Orton was busted open during the match.

After fighting Edge at Show of Shows, Orton has rekindled himself as an evil heel, and he must go after a top babyface of RAW, continuing his current momentum. As a veteran of the business, The Viper could certainly put over new faces, instead of going after Lesnar.

2 Should Face: Bobby Lashley

There are a number of dream matches Brock Lesnar could still produce and a match against Bobby Lashley should be at the top of that list. Upon his return to the company, Lashley has also mentioned a couple of times he wants a match with The Beast Incarnate. After dropping the belt, it might the perfect time to have the fantasy bout.

Similar to Lesnar's MMA career, Lashley also has a successful MMA career, fighting for various MMA promotions. Being a heavyweight, Lashley also posses a real threat to beat Brock Lesnar in the ring.

1 Shouldn't Face: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins should be done with Kevin Owens after losing the singles match at WrestleMania 36.

While there are several worthy opponents for Rollins, Brock Lesnar shouldn't be one of them, considering their lengthy feud last year. Lesnar and Rollins fought each other thrice last year, with Rollins winning their two matches. If they commence a new rivalry, the fans would lose interest.
