5 Best & 5 Worst Female Wrestlers Of 2020
During this year 2020 several wrestlers stood out in the women's division, they won many matches, they obtained championships, and they were simply one step above the others. With their repeated outstanding performances, they climbed to the top of the wrestling world and can be considered the best of the year.

However, the other side of the coin is always present, and that is that there were also certain women who had a very bad time this year and had to settle for seeing their partners succeeding. These wrestlers were losers and they will surely want to forget this year as soon as possible.
10 Best: Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley had an exceptional year in NXT, being the most outstanding wrestler in the women's division, as she did a great job in every match. The Nightmare held the WWE NXT Women's Title in the first three months of the year.
Ripley lost the title to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36 and was unable to regain it for the entire year, but she is only 24 years old, has incalculable potential and everything indicates that she will become a true WWE Superstar in the near future.
9 Worst: Lana
Despite the fact that Lana was the sole survivor for Team Raw at Survivor Series 2020, it is well known that she is not among the best female wrestlers in the industry.
Throughout this year, Lana has been heavily criticized by fans and she is also considered one of the worst gimmicks on the WWE roster.
The Ravishing Russian had a pretty bad year, she needs to improve a lot for 2021 and she will need a great storyline to save her career.
8 Best: Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks had a dominant year, she was WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Bayley for 96 days, she was WWE RAW Women's Champion for 34 days and is currently the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion.

The Boss took revenge on Bayley and stripped her of the title at Hell In A Cell and subsequently defeated Asuka in a champion vs champion match at Survivor Series.
Without a doubt, it has been a great year for Sasha Banks, in which she showed what she is capable of.
7 Worst: Aliyah
Aliyah had an awful year, reflecting that she did not do well in NXT. She didn't have any title run and she didn't have any outstanding performances. Obviously, to receive opportunities you have to earn them by doing the job the right way, but Aliyah has not lived up to expectations.
The Canadian wrestler has been wrestling for eight years, but she still has poor matches in the ring. Aliyah had another very difficult year, but she’s 26, so she's still young and has a lot of time to improve.
6 Best: Hikaru Shida
32-year-old Japanese Hikaru Shida has had the best year of her career, she is the current All Elite Wrestling Women's World Champion and has held the belt for more than six months. Most of her matches have been impressive, as she is really good at wrestling.

Shida has already defended the championship against Penelope Ford, Thunder Rosa, Big Swole, Nyla Rose and Anna Jay. Hikaru has proven that she is a dangerous and lethal woman, who is in the prime of her career and is the best in AEW today.
5 Worst: Nia Jax
Nia Jax is a very powerful woman, perhaps too powerful, as she is too rough in her matches. This is something that she has to improve as soon as possible as the number of wrestlers she's injured or come close to is not acceptable.
Fans believe that Jax works in WWE because of The Rock. That is why she has to improve her ring skills, her mic skills and has to be more charismatic to prove that she does deserve to be in the company.
4 Best: Bayley
Bayley is not only one of the best wrestlers of this year, but at 31 years old she is also considered one of the best women in WWE history.
During this year, Bayley won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Sasha Banks and spent most of the year defending the longest SmackDown Women's Title reign in history (380 days).
She has done an exceptional job, whether as a babyface or as a heel, she has dominated and deserves the respect of the fans.
3 Worst: Natalya
Natalya, 38, has had a long career and that makes her one of the most experienced wrestlers on the current WWE roster. However, her abilities have deteriorated considerably.
In 2019 we saw a rejuvenated version of Natalya and some fans were hoping to see her succeed in 2020, but things didn't happen that way and she had a disappointing year.
2 Best: Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch is used to receiving praise for the fantastic job she has done in WWE and despite being absent for more than half the year, Becky was among the best.
The Man was having a fantastic year until she announced that she was pregnant. In the first three months of the year she was literally invincible and she did a masterful job, as usual.
As if that were not enough, Becky held the RAW Women's Title for 399 days until May 10, when she left the title vacant. It would have been amazing to see how long Lynch would hold the belt.
1 Worst: Jessi Kamea
Without a doubt Jessi Kamea was one of the worst female wrestlers of the year. Kamea is 32, but she only has three years of in-ring experience. It seems like it was a bad decision to start her career as a wrestler so late, because she practically does not progress.
It is more than clear that she has to improve a lot if she wants to get out of the basement and compete with the best. It will be difficult, but not impossible.
