10 WWE Wrestlers Who Need To Change Their Ring Gear

There is a real mixture of ring gear within WWE right now, with some being fantastic, and others being forgettable and bland. For some talent, it is all about mixing to make it suit the character, but that doesn't always mean that it looks good. It is important for ring gear to be impressive as it can help make a talent stand out.

While ring gear isn't the defining factor, it can stop some wrestling fans from taking a talent seriously, which is never a good thing. Right now in WWE, there are certain wrestlers who could benefit from switching things up. Whether it's because they've had the same style a while, or it is hurting the character.

10 Happy Corbin

Happy Corbin is an example of a wrestler who is wearing bad ring gear to enhance his gimmick. While that is working, there are still changes that could be made to help matters. Seeing him in the flash shirts does give him heel heat, there's no need for him to be wrestling in it.

This can be the clothes he wears for promos or other segments, and that does all the character work for him. But when it comes down to fighting, it would be better for him to have a more serious look that fans could accept.

9 Carmella

Carmella normally has great ring gear, and what she wears isn't a problem now. However, the mask that she has adopted for her current character is not a good one. It will go down in history as one of the worst masks in WWE, and that is never a positive thing, even when working as a heel.

She doesn't need the mask to be ugly in order to gain heat, because the entire purpose of it is to bring that. Wearing the mask is what makes fans boo, so it would be smarter if this could be made to look slightly more impressive.

8 Natalya

Natalya has never had particularly exciting ring gear, and while there's nothing wrong with it, the gear doesn't get fans excited. That in itself is a problem. She's had the same style pretty much her entire career, and it would be nice to see her shake things up ever so slightly.

At this point, Natalya is not one of the fresh stars on the roster, therefore doing something ever so slightly different would be a welcome change of pace that most fans would appreciate seeing.

7 Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is a creative person, which is why over the years she has brought out some amazing ring gear. She often taps into cosplay to make things look different, and that has led to fans getting excited about what she could be wearing. That is a positive situation, and something she should return to.

Her current darker character clothing doesn't work. The gear just doesn't connect with fans, and there's a lot more she could be doing with it, including tapping into a lot of horror characters for further cosplay fun, which fans enjoy.

6 Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar stands out with his ring gear because of its MMA style, which taps into his past with UFC. However, that's the same look he has had from the moment he returned to the company, and because of that, it would be nice to see him change things up slightly.

Another reason he needs to change is that this ring gear no longer suits his character. Brock has totally transformed his gimmick, and that is something that is all themed towards being a cowboy. Because of that, it would be nice to see him tap into that with some slight tweaks.

5 Damian Priest

Damian Priest has an interesting look, but it isn't one that immediately catches the eye or feels overly exciting. The problem with it is there's too much going on. From the jacket and the pants, there is always lots of things happening, and that's not always a positive thing.

While ring gear can also be overly simple, a happy medium is always the ideal situation. His clothing is as confusing as the gimmick that he's portraying, which people do not truly understand.

4 Dominik Mysterio

The idea behind Dominik Mysterio's ring gear is that it is heavily inspired by his father. It is clear to see that he tries to create the same look, but he hasn't been able to capture that magic. There's something that doesn't click with it, and the lack of a mask is a big part of that.

Considering Dominik's size, he would be better off showcasing his body and size more. This could allow him to stand out further, and would separate him from his father a little bit, which he should be pushing to do.

3 Randy Orton

At this point, it seems very unlikely that Randy Orton will ever change up his ring gear, but it would be great to see him do it. He has had the same look almost his entire career, and there's no doubt it works for him. But seeing some creativity and a little change would be a lot of fun for fans.

While he's in a tag team with Riddle, he could do something simple like changing the style of his shorts to match his tag team partner. That small tweak would make a big difference with him, or wearing a color that isn't black.

2 Nikki A.S.H.

Nikki A.S.H. is playing a very specific character, and she's doing it well. However, at no point has her ring gear looked good within this gimmick. It isn't supposed to be a serious superhero, and fans do not expect her to come out with Marvel quality gear.

However, there is no doubt that WWE would be capable of putting together something better than this. It was impossible for fans to take her seriously as Raw Women's Champion, which was a problem for her, and now she's becoming a heel, it would work as a good time to swap things.

1 Madcap Moss

Out of every wrestler in the company, it is Madcap Moss who most desperately needs to switch up his ring gear. He has shown real talent inside the ring, with pace and strength helping to make him a bright prospect for the future. However, the gear just makes him look like a jobber.

It is hard to take him seriously with the suspenders flying around. While it is all about the gimmick, the gear is not something that is helping him. If Madcap Moss wants to kick on and go to the next level, a switch is necessary.
