10 WWE Triple Threat Matches We Completely Forgot About
Throughout the history of WWE, there have been times when a trio of wrestlers has been bunched together in one feud. The first televised triple threat match in WWE history was in June 1997 when Owen Hart defended the Intercontinental Championship against Goldust and Triple H on an episode of Raw. Sometimes triple threat matches can be underwhelming, but when they are done right, they are breathtaking encounters to watch.

The most remembered triple threat matches in WWE history are the TLC epics between Edge and Christian, the Hardy Boyz, and the Dudley Boyz. This was an underrated Intercontinental Championship match with all three men throwing the kitchen sink at each other. However, whilst Miz applied the Figure Four Leglock on Barrett, Axel covered Barrett to secure the Intercontinental Championship on Father's Day.
7 John Cena Vs. Kurt Angle Vs. Shawn Michaels - Taboo Tuesday 2005

Batista and Mysterio were former WWE Tag Team Champions and they worked together in parts of the bout.
