10 WWE PPVs With An Amazing Match Card That Fans Don't Remember
When you think about great PPVs, it is impossible not to think about WrestleMania X-Seven, SummerSlam 2002, Money In The Bank 2011, among other PPVs that were masterpieces. Many PPVs were excellent but don't get as much praise.

Throughout history, WWE has produced several PPVs that feature a terrific match card, but for some reason, fans don't remember the event. Perhaps people don't remember these PPVs because they happened a long time ago or simply because they weren't great enough to talk about today. Without further ado, below are 10 WWE PPVs with an amazing match card that fans don't remember.
10 Bragging Rights 2009
Many fans have already forgotten about Bragging Rights 2009, but that PPV actually had a very good match card. There was an entertaining match between The Miz and John Morrison and a fatal four-way match for the World Heavyweight Title in which The Undertaker retained the title against Batista, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio.
There was also a fun-to-watch 14-Man Tag Team match between Team SmackDown and Team RAW. In the main event, John Cena and Randy Orton collided in a One Hour Anything Goes Iron Man Match, in which Cena defeated Orton to become WWE Champion.
9 Survivor Series 1987
The inaugural Survivor Series PPV was better than many think. There were four solid Survivor Series Elimination matches that were undoubtedly a success and that is why they became WWE tradition.
The best match was the one in which Strike Force, The British Bulldogs, The Killer Bees, The Rougeau Brothers, and The Young Stallions defeated Demolition, The Bolsheviks, The Dream Team, The Hart Foundation, and The Islanders. In the main event, Andre The Giant became the first Sole Survivor in history after eliminating Bam Bam Bigelow in Hulk Hogan's team.
8 Payback 2016
No one is talking about Payback 2016 these days, which is surprising since it was a very good PPV. The match card consisted of Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore versus The Vaudevillains, Kevin Owens versus Sami Zayn, The Miz against Cesaro, Dean Ambrose against Chris Jericho, Charlotte versus Natalya, and Roman Reigns versus AJ Styles.
All the matches were pretty good, except for the tag team match. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn delivered a fantastic match, as usual, and Reigns and Styles put on a remarkable show as well.
7 ECW One Night Stand 2005
This was an exceptional PPV, perfectly done. However, not all fans remember it because it didn't have an epic match between two legends or a title change that made the fans happy.

Instead, all the matches were solid and all the performers did a great job that night. Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka delivered a flawless match, Sabu and Rhyno were also great, and The Dudley Boyz defeated The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer in an outstanding match.
6 Night Of Champions 2012
Most remember that epic match between CM Punk and John Cena that ended with a double pin, but very few remember that this was the main event of Night Of Champions 2012. There are also others who remember this PPV only for the aforementioned match, but it was actually a great show from start to finish.
Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler delivered an excellent match, and The Miz retained the Intercontinental Title after defeating Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio, and Sin Cara in a very exciting match. Also, Daniel Bryan and Kane became WWE Tag Team Champions, and Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio had a decent match for the World Heavyweight Title.
5 One Night Only
This PPV took place on September 20, 1997, in Birmingham, England. One Night Only featured some very interesting matches, such as Hunter Hearst Helmsley versus Dude Love, Vader against Owen Hart, The Patriot against Flash Funk, and The Legion Of Doom versus The Godwinns. All of those matches were pretty good, but the best was yet to come.
Bret Hart retained the World Heavyweight Title against The Undertaker in an outstanding match and Shawn Michaels and The British Bulldog collided in a match for the European Title. The match was great, but it was very controversial, as Chyna and Triple H helped HBK. In the end, The British Bulldog dropped the title in front of his home crowd, which was a surprising booking decision, to say the least.
4 Unforgiven 2002
Everyone knows that Brock Lesnar broke Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania XXX and that they had a couple of epic matches in 2015, but many have already forgotten that Lesnar and The Undertaker headlined Unforgiven 2002. Certainly, that match was less memorable but entertaining.
This PPV had a very interesting undercard, Triple H facing Rob Van Dam, Trish Stratus taking on Molly Holly, and Chris Jericho versus Ric Flair, not to mention the wrestling clinic put on by Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit.
3 Elimination Chamber 2011
This PPV was very good, satisfying, but people forgot it quickly. The two Elimination Chamber matches were top-notch. In one chamber, Edge defeated Drew McIntyre, Kane, Rey Mysterio, The Big Show, and Wade Barrett to retain the World Heavyweight Title. While John Cena earned a WWE Heavyweight Title shot after outlasting CM Punk, John Morrison, Sheamus, R-Truth, and Randy Orton.

Frankly, the match between The Miz and Jerry Lawler exceeded expectations, and Alberto Del Rio and Kofi Kingston put on a good show.
2 Bad Blood 2004
There were many memorable WWE PPVs in the 2000s, so it's no wonder some of them are forgotten. Bad Blood 2004 was an excellent PPV, featuring a Hell In A Cell match between Shawn Michaels and Triple H in the main event.
Chris Benoit retained the World Heavyweight Title after defeating Kane in an outstanding match. Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin brought a very entertaining battle as well. Even the fatal four-way match for the Women's Championship was very good, Trish Stratus defeated Gail Kim, Lita, and Victoria to become champion for the fifth time in her career.
1 Fully Loaded 2000
When was the last time you heard someone talking about Fully Loaded 2000? Probably a long time ago, as this pay-per-view is totally underrated. The main event between The Rock and Chris Benoit was fantastic. While Triple H and Chris Jericho starred in one of the best Last Man Standing matches in WWE history.
The Undertaker defeated Kurt Angle, Val Venis and Rikishi did a nice job inside the steel cage, and Lita teamed with The Hardy Boyz to defeat Test, Albert, and Trish Stratus.
