9 Sabu
Sabu worked for MLW during the first iteration of the company, which took place in 2002-2004, and by the time he was part of the company, Sabu was already an established name. Having had success with ECW, he was a major signing for MLW.

8 CM Punk
CM Punk wasn't around MLW for tons of time in comparison to other wrestlers, but he did enjoy a brief run with the promotion in 2003. He had a major feud during this time, working against Raven where the two men put together some excellent encounters.
It was at the time where Punk was starting to make waves and get people to talk about him as a wrestler, which proved to be a good decision for MLW to bring him in. However, this period of his career isn't something that a lot of fans talk about regularly.
7 Matt Riddle
Matt Riddle was part of MLW for a while in 2017-18 and he certainly made his mark for the promotion. He was heavily involved in a tournament to crown a new MLW World Champion and he got to the finals.
However, he would ultimately fall short to another wrestler that is now part of the WWE roster in Shane Strickland. At this time, Riddle was making big waves on the independent scene, but he was working everywhere, which meant a lot of his matches blurred into one, as was the case with his time in MLW.
6 Tyson Kidd
Long before he became Tyson Kidd in WWE, he got the chance to work with MLW alongside Harry Smith. The two men worked together as The Stampede Bulldogs and that is when he got the chance to appear for the promotion.
The two men were undefeated in MLW, competing for the company during a tour where MLW put on shows in Orlando, Florida. It's a period of time that is often forgotten, mainly because Kidd went on to have such a strong WWE career.
5 Jake Hager
When MLW returned as a promotion, they brought in a lot of big names to help draw in interest. One of those just so happened to be Jake Hager, who is somebody that fans were familiar with due to his WWE career.

4 MVP
MVP has achieved a lot throughout his wrestling career, so it's no surprise that certain moments end up being forgotten about overall. He worked with MLW for two years where he got to feud with the likes of Sami Callihan and Low Ki.
When people think about MVP, it is typically WWE that comes to people's minds, mainly because he has had two fantastic spells with the company. However, he certainly proved himself during his time in MLW, putting on some great matches during this time.
3 John Morrison
John Morrison is another WWE Superstar who has worked with MLW throughout the history of the promotion. He is somebody who has worked at a lot of places throughout his career, from WWE to TNA and a wide variety of independent promotions as well.
Because he often changed his name throughout the different places he worked, many fans forget about certain places that he worked. In MLW he performed as John Hennigan, which isn't something a lot of fans are familiar with and that is why fans forget he appeared for the promotion.
2 Pentagon Jr
It isn't just WWE Superstars that have worked for MLW over the years as Pentagon Jr also spent time with the promotion as well. Pentagon was one of the top stars during his time, but because he was a much bigger name in Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling, most people remember him from that.

1 Madman Fulton
