10 Wrestlers Who Have Surprisingly Never Competed Inside Hell In A Cell
The Hell in a Cell stipulation has been around since 1997 and since that point, there have been 42 different matches featuring 46 different wrestlers. Some of the biggest names in the history of the business have stepped inside the steel structure, from The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar to Charlotte Flair and Daniel Bryan.

However, while there are many great wrestlers who have wrestled inside The Devil's Playground, there are just as many big names who have never experienced the agony. There's plenty of major stars who many fans would expect to have had a Hell in a Cell match who haven't, and some are very surprising.
10 Goldberg
Goldberg being locked inside the Hell in a Cell stipulation could have been an amazing moment. While it would likely have created the shortest cell match ever, there's no doubt it would have been fun seeing Goldberg in this structure.
A great story could have been told here about his opponent being trapped with him as Goldberg attempts to just dominant someone. It feels like a stipulation he could have really thrived in just as he did with the Elimination Chamber, had he been given the chance.
9 Matt Hardy
WWE really missed a masterpiece by not having a Hell in a Cell match between The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge & Christian. Those teams could have torn the house down inside the stipulation, with Matt especially being someone who could have thrived.

While his brother recently got the chance to compete in this stipulation against Randy Orton, Matt missed out. His storyline with Edge would have been another great time to put him into this stipulation, and with his risk-taking ability, he could have really done some great work.
8 RVD
RVD is one of the most creative and hardcore wrestlers that WWE has ever had, which is why it's a shock that he hasn't stepped into a Hell in a Cell match. The former ECW star has been involved in a lot of great stipulation matches throughout his career, and he really could have done well inside The Devil's Playground.
Whether or not he would have lept off the roof is unclear, but there's no doubt he would have done some creative and wacky things inside and possibly on top of the cell. It's a shame RVD wasn't really around much during the Hell in a Cell PPV era, as he would certainly have been more likely to find himself inside the cell.
7 The Miz
The Miz has been one of WWE's most loyal servants and because of that, he's had the chance to compete in a lot of top stipulations. He's someone reliable that's always involved in major storylines, which is why it's surprising that he's not had a Hell in a Cell match.
Miz is perfect as a cowardly heel and that is why he'd suit being inside this stipulation. He could tell a great story of being scared, while then putting on a really high-quality match, which The Miz is always capable of.
6 Ric Flair
There aren't many stipulations that Ric Flair hasn't competed in, but a Hell in a Cell is one of them. While the Nature Boy has done WarGames and Steel Cage bouts, he's never been locked inside the 'Devil's Favorite Playground.'

With Flair's love for getting bust open, seeing him inside this stipulation in a brutal and bloody match would have been right up his street. Flair always told great stories in stipulations like this, so it's a real shame that it didn't happen.
5 Hulk Hogan
Another wrestling icon who hasn't competed inside the Hell in a Cell structure is Hulk Hogan. He's arguably the biggest name in wrestling history and putting him inside this stipulation could have told an amazing story.
While Hogan may not have always been around on the roster, he had several WWE matches after the stipulation was invented. Putting him against a young talent inside this structure could have been an amazing moment.
4 Rey Mysterio
There's still time for this to be altered, but to this point, Rey Mysterio has never had a Hell in a Cell match. Considering his creativity and the fact he's the ultimate underdog, this really is a missed opportunity.
Building up a dominant heel and locking them inside with Mysterio could have been a top moment. Plus, there's no doubt Rey could have created something unique for inside this structure to really make his match standout.
3 Eddie Guerrero
Eddie Guerrero wrestling inside Hell in a Cell would have been truly amazing to see. Latino Heat himself was a master inside the ring, and he was incredibly intense, which would have been perfectly suited to this stipulation.

His aggressive in-ring style and technique would have been well suited to a stipulation that is all about brutality. This match demands wrestlers to push themselves to the limit and that is something that Eddie has always been great at doing.
2 AJ Styles
As one of the greatest wrestlers ever, it's a shame that AJ Styles is yet to have a Hell in a Cell match. Even though he's spent most of his career away from WWE, he's now been with the company long enough to have competed in this stipulation.
Working as either an arrogant heel or an underdog babyface, AJ could tell a perfect story heading into a HIAC match. He could easily put on a great showing in this stipulation, and hopefully, he gets the chance before his career ends.
1 Booker T
Booker T was around in WWE for long parts when Hell in a Cell matches were taking place, but he never got the opportunity. Booker was a sensational in-ring talent and he could have worked a great match in this stipulation.
He spent most of his WWE career as a top star, which is why it's a real surprise that he didn't get the opportunity. During his King Booker days, he would have been a perfect candidate for a Hell in a Cell, but he is another name that was passed over.
