Punk believed that Triple H was a vocal voice against him backstage since rumors claimed Triple H buried him in front of the locker room going back to his tryout match. The infamous podcast of Punk sharing all the news about his WWE issues saw him revealing he had some harsh words for Triple H before leaving.
9 Colt Cabana: Falling Out After Lawsuit By WWE Doctor
There is still confusion to fans that wonder how exactly CM Punk and Colt Cabana became bitter rivals in real life after being best friends for most of their adult lives. Money and lawsuits will always be noteworthy variables that could harm friendships, and that played out here yet again. WWE’s doctor sued Punk and Cabana both after Punk ripped him apart on Colt’s podcast.
The story started off with Punk agreeing to pay for Cabana’s legal fees until eventually ending that. Their friendship fell apart with lawsuits made towards each other caused a friction that still impacts them today. Rumors circulated that Punk also got livid at Cabana for not ending friendships with his WWE pals since Punk viewed them as the enemy during the lawsuit.
8 Booker T: Punk Trying To Give Locker Room Leader Speeches
Many of CM Punk’s beefs today are with wrestlers that went publicly back and forth with him. Booker T has thrown some shade at Punk via his podcast and radio show, but their hostile moments came many years prior when in the same locker room together.
Punk was allegedly trying to act like a locker room leader when telling others how to be more courteous backstage. Cody Rhodes shared that Booker intentionally threw his trash on the floor when Punk was telling others to start cleaning up after themselves. A veteran feeling like a younger performer at the time is telling them what to do will never go over well.
7 Ryback: Punk Believed Ryback Was Being Intentionally Reckless In Ring
Ryback was among the first names to get publicly trashed by CM Punk to the point where he felt it hurt his career. The two worked a main event program in WWE for the WWE Championship that saw Punk missing time when suffering an injury during a brawl between the two.
Punk calling Ryback unsafe and dumb led to many fans mocking Ryback since Punk was more respected at the time. Ryback has made it clear that he feels history has proven him right since Punk has created at least another dozen more enemies since that happened.
6 Jack Perry: Disagreement Over Glass Spot
There are a few variables in play with the recent CM Punk vs Jack Perry scuffle that led to the former getting fired and the latter being suspended. Perry was talked to about trying to use real glass during a Collision spot with Punk feeling he was the leader of that show.
Their issues grew when Perry felt Punk leaked the story to make him look bad with more accusations that he was trying to get hurt ahead of a vacation. Perry trying to reference it during a car spot vs Hook led to Punk confronting him backstage and getting physical. The glass spot was how it started, but the story spiraled more and more with each creating more tension.
5 Edge & Chris Jericho: Was Mad They Watched A Hockey Game Backstage Before Tag Match
One of the strangest stories of CM Punk being unhappy with peers backstage saw him clashing with Chris Jericho and Edge. A house show tag match main event was to see Punk and Jericho facing Edge and John Morrison when Punk grew unhappy about Jericho and Edge watching a gold medal hockey game before the match.

4 Adam Page: Felt Hangman Tried To Sabotage Him With Workers Rights Promo Line
The AEW issues for CM Punk started when he and Adam Page started to have real conflict showing in their promos. Page made a comment talking about Punk being a hypocrite when calling out Punk for picking and choosing how he chooses to show that.
Punk felt that was a reference to the rumors of him blocking Colt Cabana from appearing on AEW TV. The anger of Punk existed for months until he returned from an injury and buried Hangman by calling him to the ring knowing it wasn’t planned.
3 The Miz: Resentment Over The Miz Main Eventing WrestleMania
Fans were more confused about why CM Punk had an issue with The Miz more than anyone else on the list since it came out of nowhere. Punk randomly started insulting Miz in interviews and even did the same in WWE productions claiming Miz didn’t deserve the WrestleMania 27 main event spot over him.
It clearly became a sore spot for Punk throughout the years that he never achieved his ultimate dream of main eventing a WrestleMania PPV. Punk insulted Miz years later again as part of the Backstage talk show. The two reportedly had a pleasant conversation when Punk had his bizarre WWE backstage appearance earlier this year with a hopeful apology.
2 Jon Moxley: Blaming Moxley For Weird World Championship Feud
CM Punk found yet another enemy in the AEW main event scene when clashing with Jon Moxley. Many fans felt that Moxley saved AEW during Punk’s injury as the Interim AEW World Champion in his absence. The two faced off when Punk returned with a shocking one-sided Moxley win.
This was all to set up Punk winning in a big rematch in Chicago mirroring part of the story from the Rocky movie franchise. Punk trashed Moxley on social media by saying he never watched Rocky and thought it was a terrible story forced on him.
1 Kevin Owens: ROH Argument About KO Wrestling In T-Shirt
Kevin Owens has made some news tweeting photos of his WrestleMania main event in the past with fans assuming it was meant to be a shot at CM Punk. The two had issues going all the way back to Ring of Honor with Punk clearly having problems with many of KO’s friends today in both companies.
Their personal interactions go back to a show where Owens received some flack for wrestling in a t-shirt elsewhere and wrestled in a singlet instead. Punk was allegedly one of the names in the booker’s ears to give Kevin his orders of what to wear among other things. The two ended up having a huge argument when Owens made a comment to Punk who buried him in front of the locker room as the more tenured name.
