10 Worst Tattoos In WWE History

Some WWE wrestlers have tattoos that are as famous as their theme songs. Rey Mysterio's "Mexican" tattoo above his belly button and The Rock's bicep bull tattoo, which has been covered up by a much more intricate piece, are just a few examples of ink that are as memorable as some Wrestlemania matches.

Although fans are in a new era of the WWE (and culture), where many top stars from Roman Reigns to Cody Rhodes are full of tattoos, not everybody in the history of the company has had "great tats." This list examines ten horrible tattoos that made, or continue to make, WWE audiences question the logic behind the ink.

10 Batista's Belly Button Ink

Batista with the sun tattoo

Batista was one of the major faces of the WWE during The Ruthless Aggression Era and also one of the most dominant wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring. One outside-the-ring aspect of Batista that no fan will ever forget is his "sun" belly button tattoo.

The tattoo felt so random especially early in his career when he had little ink. The movie star has since covered up the tattoo and is now sporting a much more intricate piece featuring two crows and the number "202."

9 Mideon's Confederate Flag Tattoo

Mideon's Confederate Flag

Mideon is best membered for his time in the Ministry of Darkness. He was a perfect addition to the faction with his strange gimmick and dark look. Like some of the moments from the Ministry of Darkness, Mideon's confederate flag tattoo has also not aged as well.

Although this symbol sporadically has appeared on wrestling clothing in the past, there is no chance a confederate flag would ever air on any wrestler today.

8 The Undertaker's "Sara" Tattoo

The Undertaker's tattoos helped him achieve a look as iconic as his persona. 'Taker didn't debut with any ink showing, but it became a big part of his look. One tattoo that always stuck out was the "Sara" tattoo on his neck.

It was a tribute to his wife of seven years but always felt weird since he was supposed to be a "deadman" and lived the gimmick to the fullest through most of his marriage to Sara Frank. He had the name covered up later in his career.

7 Bron Breakker's Goldberg Esque Tattoo

Bron Breakker is a rising star who could be the face of the WWE one day. Although there are huge expectations for the son of wrestling legend, Rick Steiner, he has all the tools and is getting over big time on NXT. One part of Breakker's attire that stands out to every fan is his tattoo that looks way too similar to Goldberg's famous ink.

The logo on Goldberg's shoulder is iconic and even though Bron's isn't a one-for-one replica, it would never work since it's already been done. It's actually an inferior design to Goldbergs. Even Bron himself has said he regrets the tattoo.

6 William Regal's "Made in England" Tattoo

William Regal's "Made in England" Tattoo

Although he might be making a splash as a manager in AEW right now, Regal was a common face in the WWE for over two decades. Regal also had a bad tattoo that was luckily covered up for most of his career but did appear on his action figure.

Regal's "Made in England" tattoo that's printed in old English looks more like prison ink than a regal piece of art.

5 Baron Corbin's Heart Tattoo

Corbin has a diversity of interesting ink on his body. One of the strangest tattoos is the heart placed in the middle of his chest. Although a heart tattoo is a "classic" and it's well done, the placement of this piece leaves fans scratching their heads.

Instead of being placed over his actual heart on the left side of his chest, it's placed in the middle of his chest like he had no idea about human anatomy despite being a wrestler.

4 Mr. Kennedy's Clown Tattoo

Mr. Kennedy will always be one of the biggest "what ifs" in the history of the WWE. He had a huge rookie year, but it never amounted to anything and he even lost his Money in the Bank contract.

One aspect of Kennedy that always stuck out during his (usually great) promos was his clown tattoo. Apparently, Kennedy got it in high school when he was voted class clown, but it's aged like high school chocolate milk.

3 Brock Lesnar's Predator Tattoo

Although the sword tattoo on his chest is often considered "bad ink," the blotch tattoo on his left arm (that is supposed to be Yautja from the movie The Predator) is far worst.

At this point, Lesnar's tattoos are pretty iconic since he's become such a big asset to the WWE, but his Predator tattoo might be an exception. When fans are asked what the ink on Brock's left arm is you'll hear everything from "a bird" to "a bad tattoo."

2 Christian Cage's Bulldog Tattoo

Many fans cannot tell what this tattoo is even upon close inspection proving Christian Cage's ink is not good. Christian's rise in the WWE was a long arc for the current AEW superstar. The "buff bulldog with a rose in its mouth" has rarely been mentioned during Christian's long career, and it remains the same to this day.

It's been a bad tattoo that has followed Christian everywhere from the WWE to TNA to AEW.

1 Kurt Angle's Golden Eagle Wrestler Tattoo

Kurt Angle's Golden Eagle Wrestler Tattoo

Unlike Angle's impact on wrestling, his back shoulder tattoo is often forgotten. Angle wrestled in the WWE for a long time before the implementation of HD and his tattoo looked like a green blob. Up close, it's a tattoo of the mascot from his college alma mater.

The Clarion Golden Eagle Wrestler tattoo always seemed out of place on Angle and still looks like a blob from far away to this day.
