10 Tag Teams With The Most Impressive Looking Physiques In The 2010s

While tag teams like The Usos, The Briscoes, and The Young Bucks dominated the wrestling landscape during the 2010s, they're not exactly remembered for their physique. They were obviously fit with a great look and were tremendously talented in the ring, but they didn't have that larger-than-life, statuesque quality to them.

There were, however, several other tag teams that stood out during the decade because of their incredible physiques. These duos made the 2010s a decade filled with muscle-bound marvels, captivating wrestling fans with their imposing builds and formidable teamwork.

10 The Prime Time Players

Comprising Titus O'Neil and Darren Young, these two powerhouse athletes entertained the WWE Universe as The Prime Time Players. The duo brought high-energy to their matches as well as engaging personas, even winning the WWE Tag Team titles off of New Day.

They were capable in the ring and fun for as long as they lasted, but both wrestlers need to be commended for pulling off a great look. It was always a sight to see these two muscular men do their memorable taunt: they may have not made millions of dollars, but they sure did look like a million bucks.

9 Matt Morgan & Crimson

Impact Wrestling gave fans in the early portion of the 2010s the classic storyline of two competitors feuding, then teaming up, becoming tag team champions, losing the titles, and eventually breaking up to feud again.

Matt Morgan & Crimson's saga lasted for over a year. The duo had a fairly great look, mostly due to Morgan's gargantuan size and Crimson's ripped physique.

8 Killer Elite Squad

New Japan Pro-Wrestling doesn't always feature the biggest or tallest wrestlers, but they were able to make some magic happen when they paired these two gaijin behemoths. Part of the Suzuki-gun stable, Lance Archer and Davey Boy Smith Jr. formed the ruthless Killer Elite Squad.

Renowned for their dominant presence and aggressive in-ring style, K.E.S. were a force in NJPW's tag team division during the 2010s, winning the Tag Team titles on 3 occasions for a combined 365 days.

7 The North

The pride of Ontario, Canada, The North was one of the best tag teams in Impact Wrestling history. Ethan Page and Josh Alexander shined as a duo, having the longest Impact World Tag Team Champion reign at 380 days.

Both were physically gifted and great performers, and had a great look to boot. Ethan Page may have left Impact for greener pastures in AEW, but it was Josh Alexander who ended up winning a World title first.

6 Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre

Ziggler has always been in amazing physical shape, but seeing McIntyre as a mountain of a man chiseled from marble beside him made them an interesting tag team, at least in terms of presentation.

5 Authors Of Pain

AOP

The Authors Of Pain didn't have shredded physiques or traditionally toned bodies, but it's hard to name a more intimidating-looking tag team during the 2010s, and it wasn't only about their gear.

Akam and Rezar were beasts, plain and simple. They physically dominated their opponents, both in NXT and on the main roster, winning a few tag titles along the way. Muscular, tall, and beefy, this tag team certainly had Big E's seal of approval.

4 The Bella Twins

Nikki and Brie Bella ascended to remarkable prominence within the world of professional wrestling. The WWE Hall Of Famers did their best when it came to the in-ring product, with Nikki in particular showing tremendous growth over the years, but The Bellas truly shined as celebrity entrepreneurs. They built their legacy as reality TV stars and social media influencers.

Looking the part definitely added to their popularity. The Bellas always stayed fit as WWE Superstars, but they went above and beyond to perfect their looks, with Nikki adding a ton of muscle, and Brie focusing on being lean and shredded.

3 The Bar

These two didn't just set the bar for incredible physiques - they WERE The Bar. Sheamus and Cesaro not only formed one of the best WWE tag teams of the 2010s, but with nicknames like The Celtic Warrior and The Swiss Superman, also one of the most jacked.

It's not surprising that their alliance proved to be highly successful, garnering multiple tag team championships and establishing them as dominant forces in the WWE tag team division.

2 The BroMans

When your gimmick is based off the "gym-tan-laundry" mentality of Jersey Shore fame, you'd better be hitting the gym and tanning. Robbie E and Jessie Godderz did just that, and a beautiful BroMans was created.

Not only did Jason Jordan and Chad Gable have tremendous physiques and colorful singlets reminiscent of The Steiner Bros, the two wrestlers showcased exceptional athleticism, technical prowess, and charismatic chemistry as part of American Alpha. They made their mark in NXT, capturing the Tag Team Championship and winning over fans with their dynamic in-ring performances.

American Alpha's success extended to the main roster, where they clinched the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. While their run together didn't last as long as it could have, with Jason Jordan eventually retiring because of neck issues, American Alpha remains one of the best teams to come out of WWE in a while.
