10 Ring Of Honor Wrestlers Who Would Be Perfect For WWE

The news that Ring Of Honor is going on a hiatus is something that has caused huge shockwaves across the wrestling industry and wasn't a situation anybody wanted to see. The company has released all of its roster which has led to speculation about their futures and where everyone will end up working.

WWE is an obvious landing spot for some of those wrestlers, but the company will not take on everybody. However, there are specific talents who would be a great fit working within WWE, whether that be on the main roster or as part of NXT 2.0, being able to add something different to the roster.

Jay Lethal is one of the most experienced and talented members of the Ring Of Honor roster and he is somebody that would be a great addition to any promotion. His experience and knowledge of the wrestling industry would be great as part of NXT 2.0.

His in-ring style would work within that show, yet he would be able to help a lot of the younger wrestlers as they begin their journey in wrestling. Lethal can be a serious wrestler, but at the same time, he has no problem in being goofy and over the top either, which would bring the best of both worlds for this current version of the brand.

Mark Haskins is a fantastic professional wrestler who has a lot of experience inside of the ring. He brings a lot of intensity and passion to everything he does and his hard-hitting style would be fantastic to see inside the WWE environment.

He would be an excellent fit as part of NXT UK, and there is no doubt that the company is still looking to bolster that roster. Adding a major star who could easily main event shows for the brand would make Haskins a smart signing for WWE.

Joe Hendry is another name that would be a great signing to join NXT UK, especially considering his popularity with UK audiences from his work on the independent scene. However, with his personality, Hendry would actually be a great fit for the new version of NXT.

NXT 2.0 is pushing big personalities and characters and that is something that Hendry offers. His unique entrances where he sings songs and creates unique videos about his opponents could be a lot of fun within this environment and would allow him to stand out as well.

7 PJ Black

WWE has never had a problem with bringing old faces back to the company, which is why PJ Black could end up finding his way to WWE once again. Fans will remember him as Justin Gabriel, and he was always a popular member of the roster when he turned babyface, which is why he would suit working for the company again.

He has fantastic in-ring ability, which was the case during his original run as a member of Nexus. However, he has since stepped up his character work and become an even more compelling wrestler, which is why the company might be interested in re-signing him.

6 Vincent

Something that WWE has always enjoyed pushing is dark, supernatural-style characters and that is something that Vincent brings in abundance. He's a hard-hitting, physical wrestler who could fill a gap on the main roster that has been left behind by The Fiend and Aleister Black.

He is fantastic at working a character, which is crucial to succeeding on the main roster in WWE, and the fact he can back it all up inside of the ring is something that helps to make him one of the most exciting prospects to sign.

Flip Gordon is a brilliant in-ring wrestler who has a lot to offer any roster. While he has a history with The Elite, it would be interesting to see him join WWE as he would fit in perfectly as part of NXT 2.0 because of his in-ring style.

Gordon can also put a lot of focus onto character work as well, which is something that would be crucial to him succeeding on that brand. He has always managed to get over with the fans and that would be no different in WWE, which is why the company could end up being interested in him.

4 Nick Lendl

Right now, the focus for most fans is on what will happen with the wrestlers, but they are not the only people who will be affected by the situation with Ring Of Honor right now. Everybody who works for the company will be affected, and that includes Nick Lendl, who is the ring announcer.

Considering that WWE has just released Greg Hamilton from his contract, the company could be in the market for somebody to replace him, which is where Lendl may step in. He has experience at the top level and would be able to do a fantastic job if given the opportunity.

WWE could bring him in and utilize his experience while allowing him to have one final run at the top, possibly to put over a young talent. He would make a fantastic producer one day due to his knowledge as well, which is why WWE would be able to get a lot of of this potential signing.

Matt Taven is likely the type of wrestler that WWE has been looking at for a while, as he has been a man on the rise for some time in the industry. As a former ROH World Champion, Taven has proven his ability to carry a company and put on fantastic matches regularly.

He has got the look and the in-ring ability, having everything that the company looks for in top-tier talent. He would slot into the main roster perfectly and could shake things up nicely and make a real impact.
