Over two decades ago, WWE entered a new phase with the Ruthless Aggression Era. It was during this time that WWE created some of its biggest stars: Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Randy Orton. A ton of bad stuff happened during this time, such as the Katie Vick angle and other disgusting gimmicks, but this era was also filled with countless funny moments.

From the Rock and The Hurricane's program to Mariachi Brock to even the WrestleMania 21 movie parodies, these moments were very hilarious. But since these kinds of things happened regularly at that time, people don't remember every such segment.
10 Brother Love Hugs The American Badass
During the Undertaker's feud with Big Show in 2003, the latter gifted several big boxes to him. One time, Brother Love came out of it and he became very excited to see Undertaker again and jumped into his arms for a hug.
He then asked Undertaker to forgive Big Show and if he remembers the lessons about love and forgiveness he taught him. The segment ended with Undertaker chokeslamming and delivering a Tombstone Piledriver to Brother Love.
9 Vince McMahon Taking Out The Trash
WWE fans were surprised when Eric Bischoff debuted in the company in 2002 as the inaugural General Manager of Raw. For the next three years, he played his on-screen authority figure role brilliantly as a heel. Bischoff might even be the best Raw General Manager of all time.

His first spell in WWE ended with him getting dumped into a garbage truck by Vince McMahon. Eric got fired because he failed to achieve his goals at Survivor Series 2005, and then again at the next Raw when Kurt Angle and Chris Masters failed to strip John Cena of his WWE Title.
8 "I’m Just A Sexy Kurt"
Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels had a classic match at WrestleMania 21. This was a fight to decide was was a better wrestler. Angle claimed he was better than The Heartbreak Kid in every way. Kurt even defeated Michaels' former tag partner, Marty Jannetty, to mock his rival.
One night on SmackDown, he even dressed up as Shawn and made his entrance. He also brought Michaels' former manager Sensational Sherry and together, they created a spoof version of Michaels' theme song.
7 Chris Jericho Misses Austin's Beer Toss
One night in 2003, after Raw went off the air, Steve Austin and Chris Jericho shared some time in the ring. Austin tossed a beer to Jericho, which he couldn't catch. He looked very offended and then tossed another beer and once again Y2J dropped it, and this time, even he looked pissed. The third time, Austin carefully tossed the beer to Jericho from a close distance, and he looked very angry after catching it. This whole segment wasn't planned.
6 Commercial For Royal Rumble 2005
Some of the WWE commercials back in the day were way too funny.Never forget when Brock Lesnar F5-ed a shark on the beach during the SummerSlam 2003 commercial. For Royal Rumble 2005, a bunch of wrestlers from Raw and SmackDown got together to do a West Side Story-style commercial for the Rumble match. They dressed up as members of the Jets and Sharks, and some of the looks were quite hilarious.
Just as the wrestlers were about to brawl, the commercial ended with Vince McMahon waking up from his sleep and saying: "That's not the Rumble I had in mind." It's ironic that the same night he tore his quads and sat in the ring while no-selling it.
5 Edge Imitates Ric Flair's Road Rage Incident
In late 2005, Ric Flair and Edge got into a rivalry. Around that time, Flair also got arrested for a road rage incident a day before Thanksgiving in Charlotte, North Carolina. Although the charges were later dropped against him. WWE used this real-life incident as an opportunity to fuel Flair's rivalry with Edge.

They showed footage of Flair's road rage incident but it was just Edge dressed up as The Nature Boy. He got mad that someone cut him off, and locked him in a Figure Four on the highway.
4 Big Show Loses Rap Battle To John Cena
In 2002, John Cena started doing freestyle rap in WWE and became the Doctor of Thuganomics. He also used to have battle rap segments with wrestlers on television. Most people remember his epic rap battle against Kurt Angle on SmackDown. Some of his other rap battles were also fun to watch, but people don't remember them as much. The one with Big Show in December 2003 was quite hilarious. Big Show tried to get one up on Cena early, but The Cenation Leader hit back hard and embarrassed him in every way.
3 Batista Becomes Aggressive
One night on SmackDown in 2005, Simon Dean went one on one against the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista. Before the match, Dean cut a short promo promoting his Simon System program. He said that Batista's also a Simon System customer and that they made him bigger, stronger, and faster (though not smarter).

Batista then enters the ring and says he's never used the Simon System. He tries one of the products and immediately feels bigger, stronger, and a lot more aggressive. Then, he attacks Dean, takes another dose of Simon Milk, and immediately becomes more aggressive. He then ends the match with the Batista Bomb and poses with the product while covering the fitness guru with one foot on his chest.
2 The First-Ever McMahon Family Prayer
Vince McMahon had a controversial storyline with Shawn Michaels, which later also involved God. They had a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 22, and people expected this to be the end of their storyline. But McMahon continued to feud with Shawn.
Before their WrestleMania match, Vince hosted the first-ever McMahon family prayer. The prayer brought chuckles from fans, and it ended with him saying "Amen! Hallelujah."
1 Eddie Guerrero Really Wants The Tag
Eddie Guerrero was truly a comedy genius. He loved to entertain the crowd and put a smile on people's faces. Eddie's heel antics were really fun to watch.
On the January 20, 2005, episode of SmackDown, Eddie and Booker T faced The Basham Brothers for the WWE Tag Team Titles. During the match, the referee yelled at Eddie for not holding the tag rope. So he came up with an idea. The Latino Heat untied the tag rope and moved it to the middle of the ring. But the referee caught him and tried to take the tag rope from him. Eddie turned his back and clenched the rope to his chest, and shook his head furiously.
