Many male wrestlers grow out their facial hair and that can quickly become their entire look. Someone like Bryan Danielson while working in WWE would start getting merchandise that highlighted his beard. So it might be a shocker to see that some of these famous wrestlers that have had beards for most of their career, wasn't always the case. Here are some pictures of wrestlers without their iconic facial hair looks.

10 Bryan Danielson

Getting the easiest out of the way first. Bryan Danielson didn't start growing out a beard until the tail end of his time working with Ring of Honor and would even shave it off before joining WWE. He would regrow it, and it became one of his defining traits during his time with the company.

Again Danielson would decide to lose the beard during his feud with Bray Wyatt but again grew it out before leaving and signing a deal with All Elite Wrestling. Currently, he keeps in more manageable than he did with WWE.

9 Mark Henry

Mark Henry always seemed to have some amount of facial hair while working in WWE. Rather it is when he debuted and was rocking a decent full beard to now with his more gray goatee look in AEW.

Looking online fans can see Mark Henry at a much younger age prior to joining the WWE when he was clean-shaven. He would start really growing out his iconic beard around 1995-1996 during his power-lifting days.

8 Drew McIntyre

For long-time fans of WWE seeing Drew McIntyre without his beard might not be such a shock, but for newer fans, it might be the oddest thing. McIntyre after leaving WWE would work in Impact Wrestling and other promotions in the UK. During this time he would bulk up and grow out his facial hair before returning to the promotion.

McIntyre before the massive change was a lot thinner and had a clean-shaven look alongside his famous long hair. Now fans might be hard-pressed to imagine the Scottish giant without his beard.

7 Sheamus

Going from one massive European to another, Sheamus has always sported some amount of facial hair since debuting in WWE. Prior to signing a contract, Sheamus would work in promotions like Irish Whip Wrestling and All Star Wrestling having not a single hair on his face.

Despite the changes in his hairstyle on occasion, most fans wouldn't be able to imagine what Sheamus would look like if he decided to get rid of the beard.

6 Mick Foley

Mick Foley has had an incredible beard dating back to his time as Cactus Jack back in WCW. Even now it just seems to get longer and a bit more gray with age. There have been a few times that Foley decided to shave a majority of it off and rock a goatee look instead of the full beard.

Like any other person in the world, Foley didn't always have his incredible beard. The only pictures of the hardcore legend without facial hair date back to when he was a child in school and his yearbook photos.

5 Jim Neidhart

One-half of the legendary Hart Foundation Jim Neidhart has been famous for the intensely long goatee that he would rock for the vast majority of his career working in WWE, Japan, and WCW.

It would be prior to working with WWE that Jim Neidhart would have a very different look. Still working with Bret Hart, Neidhart would wear short trunks and a clean-shaven face.

4 Miro

AEW's Redeemer Miro has created a great look with his muscular build and thick dark beard. Before moving over to AEW, Miro would famously be former United States Champion Rusev while working in WWE.

Starting his career he would don much longer hair and a goatee instead of a full beard. Later in his career he would shave most of the beard off minus a little bit of stubble and rocking a bold mustache.

3 Bray Wyatt

Fans that have been watching WWE for a while might remember Bray Wyatt when he was a part of the early days of NXT and the Nexus as Husky Harris. During that time he would have a little bit of facial hair but nowhere near the massive beard he has now.

As Harris and prior, Wyatt would have either a small goatee or a full chin strap style beard. Once he became the cult leader-like character of Bray Wyatt, he would debut a much larger and thicker beard.

Bruiser Brody would be famous for his wild look with long messy hair and his large beard. The look combined with his style of wrestling made Brody stand out as scarier and more hard-hitting than his competition.

Brody before becoming a wrestler would actually be a sportswriter wearing a button-up shirt and tie with a more cleaned-up look compared to his future in-ring character.

1 Brodie Lee

The former AEW TNT Champion Brodie Lee was much like Bruiser Brody with his long dark hair and a massive beard. The look would go well with his character in WWE as Luke Harper and eventually his Dark Order leader in AEW.

Long before his working in AEW and WWE, Brodie worked in other promotions like CZW, Ring of Honor, and Chikara. The early days of his career would shortly give fans the chance to see Jon Huber without that iconic beard and much shorter hair.
