10 Funniest Moments Of Shawn Michaels' Career
Not only is Shawn Michaels one of greatest in-ring performers of all time, but he would also wind up being pretty funny as well, and not just as part of Degeneration X either! Either nobody thought to tell good ol’ HBK the old adage of “funny ain’t money,” or he just didn’t care.

It's probably the latter, as The Heartbreak Kid did whatever he needed to, to smash down any obstacle or glass ceiling put in front of him. Some of these moments are not only pretty funny, but great moments in the career of an icon.
10 Raw Trek: The Search For Shawn
When HHH needed some help dealing with Legacy, he once again looked to the Kliq. He spent most of Raw searching for The Heartbreak Kid to once again reform DX. The Game’s search led him to Chef “Don’t Call Me A Cook” Shawn fighting with an petulant brat about the importance of cooking a burger on both sides. It only led to little girl getting a taste of Sweet Chin Music instead. An epic question was asked - “Are you ready?”
9 Getting Stuck On The Ramp
For a long time, the set of Monday Night Raw has been filled with all kinds of grates and twisted metal. Coincidentally the entrance gear of The Showstopper's was usually all kinds of metal chains and tassels to adorn his leather chaps and vests with. The two items were bound to collide at some point. During the finals of The Gold Rush tournament, he was set to face Edge. But first he had to free himself from the entrance ramp which his gear got caught in on the way to ring.
8 Brother, Brother, Brother
Gearing up for the epic SummerSlam 2005 between Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan, The Hulkster headed to chat with Larry King. Only it was a cheap imitation of the legendary interviewer and Shawn Michaels stepping in for the Immortal One.

HBK reverted back to full-on antagonist heel during this program and this interview was hilarious. “Hogan” clicked his way onto the stage with a walker in tow feeling 102 and brothering it up with every brother other brother sentence brother!
7 DX State Of The Union
As HBK and HHH kept getting increasingly more vulgar for the delight of the attitudinal audience, the USA Network censors were getting worried. They sent WWE and DX a letter of what to say, what not to say, and when certain things could be said. The result was the now iconic DX State Of The Union that featured Shawn’s terrible Bill Clinton imitation.
6 Oh, Canada
If there was ever any a question who the heel was in the Shawn Michaels-Hulk Hogan feud, when Raw came to Montreal on the road to SummerSlam. Every since the 1997 Survivor Series, HBK was booed out of the building to the tune of “you screed Bret!”

But before he left the ARENA, Michaels faked the crowd into believing the Hitman was returning (something several stars did during this time) as well as sang his own rendition of “Oh Canada,” complete with a promise to kick Hogan in the face.
5 The Tie Up Of Doom
With a firm grasp on both the world and European titles, Shawn Michaels was the tippy top guy and using all of his bravado to do whatever he wanted. Commissioner Slaughter thought he had pulled a fast one on HBK and DX, forcing Shawn to defend the European title against his bestie, HHH. After a comical crisscross of the ropes, the two competitors squared up only for Shawn to fall faster than Nash after a fingerpoke and then sell like he waged war.
4 Shawn-O-Mac
Vince tried to take out both Triple H and Shawn Michaels separately. But instead he shoved them together to reform DX. That meant a lot of hysterical moments at the expense of the Chairman and his son. With Triple H playing Vince, that left Shawn to deliver an over the top Shane McMahon impersonation, which had him doing the Shane shuffle every thirty seconds.
3 Selling For Hogan
The biggest star of the eighties, Hulk Hogan met Shawn Michaels, the biggest star of the nineties in battle at the 2005 SummerSlam. The initial plan was for a trilogy of matches, but rumor has it that Hogan pulled a bit of the “that doesn’t work for me brother” politicking and got the trilogy idea narrowed down to one match. Michaels responded in kind by over selling incredibly and hilariously by bouncing and flying all over the ri by for Hulkamania.
2 Torturing Michael Cole
If you thought Bayley laughing and prodding at Michael Cold on Fridays was bad, she wants the first by a long shot. When it comes to Shawn Michaels terrorizing announcers, the clip of him with a sock in his drawers jumping into JR’s face.

But Michaels and the rest of DX consistently had a field day with Cole. If it wasn’t Chyna giving him a wedgie, it was Shawn paint brushing the poor guys face with his braids.
1 Hall Of Fame Degenerate
After a career of making fans laugh, there was no way that Shawn or the rest of DX would be respectable when it came time for the group to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame. After riding out on a tank, HBK kept the antics going by repeatedly and comically referring to Vince McMahon and mocking Triple H’s tremendous schnozzola, Billy Gunn’s tremendous potential, and comically took responsibility for corrupting and entire generation of fans.
