He still works on his physique, is involved with some sponsorships per his social media, and also got married since his WWE release. He has stayed in and amongst other wrestlers when it comes to social media, but he hasn’t wrestled for a while.

Dan Matha was never given any sort of proper feud or storyline in NXT, though he did once compete on the main roster as one of the 50 men in the ‘Greatest Royal Rumble’ match in Saudi Arabia.

This didn’t lead to a call up though, and he went back to warming up the lower card of NXT. He hardly even managed to make it on NXT television, and hasn’t competed ever since. Fans would be forgiven if they’d forgotten all about Matha.

Curtis Axel had a lot to live up to, being the son of Mr. Perfect. However, despite some Tag Team Championship wins and one reign as Intercontinental Champion, he was never able to make a lasting impression in WWE.

In 2020, Axel was released amidst WWE’s pandemic budget cuts, but was later brought back in a backstage producer role. Axel wasn’t long for the job though, being released from WWE a second just a few months in. Since then, he has stayed away from the ring and seemingly disappeared. He hasn’t uploaded on his Instagram for two years, staying away from social media.
