10 Forgotten TNA Wrestlers: Where Are They Now?

There have been several wrestlers who experienced forgettable runs with TNA throughout the company's history. Many of these competitors had short runs with the company, while others stayed longer but struggled to find success due to various circumstances.

While most of these forgotten wrestlers found more success with another promotion during their wrestling career, others have found much greater success outside of the industry. Many have used the company as a launching pad to propel their career forward, regardless of the path they chose to take following their TNA tenure.

10 Paul London

While Paul London may be most known for his time in WWE, he also had a short stint with TNA (on top of being a standout competitor on the independent scene) early in his career. The Innovator of Excellence, who made his TNA debut on February 12, 2003, competed in the company's X Division for a few months before making the jump to WWE later that year. He returned to the company as a producer for a short period in 2019.

London wrestled sporadically throughout the 2010s as he transitioned into an acting career. The Lord Farquaad lookalike would surely be a top contender to land the role of the pretentious monarch if DreamWorks decides to make a live-action Shrek movie in the future.

9 Sylvain Grenier

Sylvain Grenier, a four-time World Tag Team Champion in WWE throughout the 2000s, made his TNA debut as a member of the French commentary team in 2007. While Grenier may be known for his role as an announcer with the company, he also wrestled fellow (former) commentator and wrestler Pierre-Carl Ouellet during his TNA tenure.

Grenier returned to WWE as a producer for a short period in 2020 before being released during the Covid-19 pandemic. Following his release, he began working as an executive producer and host of the French Canadian TV series Le Fit Show.

8 Low Ki

Low Ki, who was involved in TNA's debut show on June 19, 2002, was only one of the most exciting X Division competitors in company history. He may have helped establish the high-flying division early in his career, but his run often gets forgotten since he never achieved his full potential with the company.

Low Ki made his debut with the New York-based wrestling promotion Major League Wrestling in 2018, and it took him very little time to establish himself in the company. He arguably reached greater heights in his first year with MLW than he ever did in TNA, as he won the promotion's World Heavyweight Championship only six months after making his debut.

7 Frankie Kazarian

Frankie Kazarian, who made his TNA debut in 2003, spent a decade of his professional wrestling career with the company. Kazarian, Kazarian, a standout X Division competitor and member of the infamous Fortune stable during his time in TNA, suffered nearly as many losses as anyone in company history.

Kazarian was one of the first wrestlers to sign with AEW when they were founded in 2019, and he continues to wrestle for the company today. He recently was forced to split with his tag partner Christopher Daniels, whom he has been aligned with throughout much of his time in TNA and ROH, following the duo's loss to The Young Bucks on AEW Dynamite 84.

6 Robbie E

Robbie E made his TNA debut in 2010 with a Jersey Shore Guido gimmick that shockingly failed to catch on with the crowd. Despite displaying a surprisingly effective in-ring skillset throughout his career, the one-time X Division Champion struggled to rise above the mid-cards during his seven-year tenure with the company.

Robbie E exchanged the tanning oil and hair gel for a dapper suit and... well, less hair gel when he made his debut with NXT in 2019. The Pauly D doppelganger underwent a complete transformation when he made his debut as Robert Stone, a well-dressed manager who (often unsuccessfully) courts the female talent on the brand.

5 Sonjay Dutt

Sonjay Dutt, who made his TNA debut in 2003, struggled to gain momentum throughout his career and was rarely taken seriously as a high-level competitor. His only championship victory came in 2017 when he defeated Low Ki for the X Division Championship during his third stint in TNA.

Dutt requested his release from the company in 2019 and immediately began working as a producer and coach with WWE, where he worked on the NXT brand. He reportedly left WWE on his own accord on June 29, 2021, and signed with AEW as a producer.

4 Doug Basham

Doug Basham is most known for his time in WWE with his kayfabe brother, Danny Basham, where the two most notably had a forgettable run as tag team champions in 2003. After they left WWE in 2007, the two men aligned with Christy Hemme during a short stint with TNA.

Both of the Basham brothers retired from in-ring competition in 2009. Doug returned to the industry when he accepted the role of Advanced Wrestling Instructor for the Al Snow Wrestling Academy, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, in Fall 2020.

3 Stevie Richards

Stevie Richards is one of few career jobbers who enjoyed a long career with multiple major wrestling promotions, including WWE and TNA, where he wrestled from 2009 to 2011. While he may not have reached the pinnacle of the wrestling industry at any point, he achieved far more success with WWE than TNA, which he left after claiming the company was not paying him a living wage.

Richards retired from in-ring wrestling competition in 2016, and he now runs a fitness program called Stevie Richards Fitness. He is also the host of The Morning Warmup With Stevie Richards, a podcast where he covers topics ranging from wrestling to everyday life.

2 Matt Morgan

Matt Morgan, who made his TNA debut in 2007, may have had imposing size, but he lacked the in-ring ability to be taken seriously as a main event competitor. He spent six years with the company and experienced a few pushes that saw him go head-to-head against some of TNA's top stars.

Morgan has found success in the political field following his in-ring retirement, and he has served as the District 4 City Commissioner for Longwood, Florida, since 2017. He was also the mayor of Longwood from May 2019 to September 2020. Morgan has also had a recurring role on a Wrestling Inc. podcast, where he reviews WWE and AEW wrestling shows.

1 Wes Brisco

Wes Brisco, the son of wrestling legend Gerald Brisco, wrestled with TNA from 2012 to 2013 and was a member of the iconic Aces & Eights stable during his short stint in the company. Brisco is more known for his work on the independent scene, where he continues to wrestle for Atomic Revolutionary Wrestling (ARW).

Brisco is one of the top competitors in ARW, and he previously held the promotions Heavyweight Championship. He is also engaged to fellow professional wrestler Stephanie Cardona, who wrestles under the ring name Red Velvet in AEW.
