10 Dream Feuds For Hulk Hogan We Would Have Loved To See If He Was In His Prime

The primary reason behind professional wrestling's exceptional growth in the 1980s was due to one man, Hulk Hogan. With The Hulkster being the face of the sport, WWE got more mainstream attention at that time. His charisma, mic work, and muscular physique with '24 inches of pythons' made him the favorite wrestler of everyone.

Hogan was still in his prime in the 1990s when he joined WCW and brought a new revolution to the company with the success of nWo. Hogan retired long ago, but he could have delivered some incredible feuds with modern-day wrestlers if he was still in his prime today.

10 LA Knight

LA Knight Cropped

LA Knight isn't a top guy in WWE yet. Nevertheless, his talent can't be overlooked. He is certainly one of the most entertaining wrestlers today with superior talking skills and imposing charisma.

A promo battle between LA Knight and Hulk Hogan would be fun to watch. With his vast wrestling experience, LA Knight could go toe to toe with The Hulkster in the squared circle as well.

9 Kevin Owens

Kevin owens

Kevin Owens already had a dream feud with the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin, that too at the grand stage of WrestleMania 38. Similar to that feud, a rivalry between Hulk Hogan and Kevin Owens would have been nothing short of spectacular today.

Knowing how good Owens is as a bad guy, he could play a heel against a babyface Hulk Hogan.

8 Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley is AEW's one of the top guys presently, winning the AEW World Championship three times. During his time in WWE as Dean Ambrose, he also captured the WWE Championship once. Moxley's hardcore wrestling style makes him stand out from the rest.

Hogan in his prime loved hardcore matches as well. Hence, if Hogan had faced Moxley in his prime, the match would have been a blockbuster one whether in AEW or WWE. Both men would have bled throughout the match. And the promos would have been intense and personal.

7 Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman

Hulk Hogan being six feet and seven inches, was a big man himself in his prime. In addition, he weighed over three hundred pounds. The Hulkster loved facing giants whether it was Andre the Giant in WWE or The Giant aka Big Show in WCW. He had no problem picking up giants and slamming them.

With that in mind, Braun Strowman, WWE's one of the most well-known giants today, would have been a dream feud for Hulk Hogan. It would have been a treat for the fans if Hogan had slammed Strwoman in the middle of the ring.

6 Gunther

Gunther

The Ring General Gunther has made quite an impression since their arrival on the main roster. As a dominant Intercontinental Champion, he has enjoyed a stupendous run. Even though Gunther says few words, his actions in the ring make him a frightening heel.

Gunther is a big man, and a match with Hulk Hogan would have been a heavyweight clash. It would have been interesting to see if Gunther's brutal chops could prevail over Hogan's leg drops.

5 MJF

MJF as AEW Champion

A wrestler like Maxwell Jacob Friedman is a once-in-a-generation talent for his work on the microphone and how he likes keeping the kayfabe alive, which is rare in pro wrestling nowadays. At the young age of 27, MJF is one of the hottest names in professional wrestling now, winning the AEW World Championship.

MJF has the talent and character work of an old-school wrestler and hence, he would have been a dream feud against someone like Hulk Hogan. Their promo battle would have broken the internet in today's age. MJF obviously would have been a hated heel in the feud, while Hogan would have been the loveable babyface.

4 Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt

Hulk Hogan had the knack of producing incredible feuds with dark characters. Hogan's feud with The Undertaker helped to build the latter as a star in 1991. Eleven years later, they had another great feud when The Undertaker was American Badass. On the other hand, Hogan got the best out of Sting in WCW as well as TNA.

With that in mind, it would have been a great feud between Hulk Hogan and Bray Wyatt. The fans would have been highly invested to see if The Hulkster could evade the unpredictable mind games of Bray Wyatt.

3 Seth Rollins

Seth-Rollins-WWE

Presently, Seth Rollins is one of the most versatile wrestlers on the WWE roster. Whether as the architect, the messiah, or the visionary, all different versions of Seth Rollins have been successful due to his brilliant character work.

With someone like Seth Rollins, the prime Hulk Hogan would have flourished in the ring as well as on the microphone.

2 John Cena

Cena and Hogan

Incidentally, John Cena and Hulk Hogan were on the same roster together in the Ruthless Aggression Era. However, the two megastars never had the opportunity of facing each other in the ring. They shared the ring as a tag team partner on an episode of RAW in 2005.

With both being the two biggest babyfaces in WWE history, a feud between Hulk Hogan and John Cena would have been similar to the feud between The Rock and John Cena. The match would have broken all records in the main event of WrestleMania.

1 Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns

It wouldn't be wrong to call Roman Reigns the Hulk Hogan of this era. With a record-breaking world title reign and multiple WrestleMania main events to his name, Tribal Chief has been in the 'god mode' for years.

A number of big names tried and failed to stop Roman Reigns' historic title run. Perhaps Hulk Hogan in his prime would have been able to stop the Tribal Chief. And the heel Reigns against the fan favorite Hogan would have been a perfect scenario for a perfect rivalry.
