10 Disturbing Things You Forgot Happened In WWE's Hell In A Cell

WWE's Hell In A Cell is one of the most famous stipulations in the history of the company, which has led to a lot of great moments over the years whether they took place in random shows or at the themed PPVs. Some of those have been truly disturbing, which was done to put over the violent nature of the match itself.

Because these moments aren't always the big spots, or they don't end up leading to the finish, which is why these types of situations can end up being forgotten about, but they are often worthy of being remembered.

10 Seth & Dolph Take A Fall (Hell In A Cell, 2018)

Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler fall from HIAC

Because neither Seth Rollins nor Dolph Ziggler were involved in the main event of Hell In A Cell, a lot of people forget the fact that they were involved in a huge disturbing bump. The two men got involved in that match and scaled to the side of the structure as they brawled.

The two men then fell and crashed through the announce table, but because it wasn't a huge bump from the top of the structure it can be overlooked, especially since it wasn't their match.

9 Smile For The Camera (Survivor Series, 2007)

Undertaker in Hell in a Cell

At Survivor Series in 2007, The Undertaker and Batista took their rivalry to the next level as they battled inside Hell in a Cell. But it was a surprise appearance that led to a disturbing moment, as Edge had posed as the cameraman inside the ring, and he was on hand to screw the Deadman.

Undertaker had the bout won until Edge pulled the referee out, and he then delivered a brutal blow to the head with the camera itself, which was a disturbing blow as it was such a vicious strike that he delivered.

8 An Insane Dropkick (Hell In A Cell, 2019)

Becky Lynch dropkick

Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks held nothing back when they met at Hell in a Cell, 2019, with the two women taking some ridiculous bumps throughout the match. One of the most disturbing saw Banks end up propped onto a chair that was being held up by kendo sticks for elevation.

Lynch then leaped and delivered a huge dropkick to the Legit Boss, smashing her into the steel as she then collapsed to the floor. It was an insane spot that deserves more credit than it is provided by the WWE Universe.

7 Locked By Kendo Sticks (Hell In A Cell, 2017)

Jey Uso locked by kendo sticks

The Usos and The New Day always brought the best out of each inside the ring, and when they were locked inside Hell In A Cell they took things to the next level. The match was littered with brutal moments, which was fitting of the rivalry that they had created.

But one disturbing spot that is often forgotten is when New Day trapped Jey Uso in the corner of the cell with kendo sticks. It was like a crazy torture device for him and was certainly an inventive moment that often goes underrated.

6 Crashing Through A Kendo Table (Hell In A Cell, 2021)

Bayley inside HIAC

The 2021 Hell In A Cell PPV had no fans, and because of that, the moments that took place throughout that show instantly ended up being forgotten more than most. Bayley and Bianca Belair had a very physical bout on that show, and it led to a lot of big disturbing spots happening.

One saw Bayley create a bridge of kendo sticks between the ring apron and the steel structure itself. However, she ended up on the receiving end of her idea, as Belaind slammed her through the wood in a brutal moment.

5 Spitting Blood (Vengeance, 2005)

Triple H vs Batista HIAC

Batista and Triple H had a great Hell In A Cell match at the peak of their rivalry, which didn't hold back the violence to make the stipulation feel important. One particularly disturbing spot saw Triple H ending up spitting out blood after his throat touched a sledgehammer.

It was a crazy visual, but given that WWE is now a PG company, they don't promote this moment at all, which is why many people have ended up forgetting that it happened in the first place.

4 Attacking The Broken Hand (No Mercy, 2002)

Brock Lesnar v The Undertaker No Mercy 2002

The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar had an amazing rivalry and they competed at No Mercy, in 2002 inside Hell In A Cell, which turned into a brutally violent encounter. One spot from the match that was particularly disturbing is when Undertaker's hand was stuck inside the cell and Brock smashed at it with a chair.

He was wearing a cast at this time due to a broken hand, which made the entire thing even more aggressive and brutal to watch, as Brock went full force to make it as impressive as possible.

3 Spear From Hell (Hell In A Cell, 2015)

Roman Reigns v Bray Wyatt

The storyline between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt was a great one in 2015, but it often gets overlooked. Their Hell In A Cell match was a great one that fit a lot of great moments in, but the spot where Roman Speared Bray from the ring apron to the floor, through a table was particularly disturbing.

Because this match isn't talked about as much as others, people often forget that this spot even took place, which is a shame as the spot deserves more credit than it gets.

2 A Disgusting Earring (Hell In A Cell, 2020)

Jeff Hardy Screwdriver Spot

Jeff Hardy is a crazy daredevil, and that is why there was no surprise when his Hell in a Cell match with Randy Orton ended up being filled with wild ideas. There were so many in this match that some ended up being forgotten, but arguably the most disturbing was when Randy Orton used a screwdriver to Jeff's ear.

He has the type of earring that has a big hole in his ear, and that allows for people to use weapons to it, which Orton did and it left people thinking that his ear would end up snapping, which was crazy to see.

1 Big Boss Man Hangs (WrestleMania 15)

Undertaker Hangs Bossman

The most disturbing spot that WWE has ever put into the Hell In A Cell matches was at the end of the WrestleMania 15 match when The Undertaker ended up hanging Big Boss Man. It provided a crazy visual as Boss Man hung from the structure as it rose into the air.

This is one that WWE doesn't talk about anymore, purely down to how shocking the visual was, which doesn't go hand in hand with the PG product, hence why many have forgotten about it. The moment also took place in one of the worst Hell In A Cell matches of all time, which also didn't help make this memorable
