10 Best Current AEW Theme Songs, Ranked

AEW has plenty of positives to talk about, but one which goes unsung (pun intended) is just how good their entrance music is. Whether it be the talents of Mikey Rukus or Tony Khan’s commitment to getting licensed songs, AEW clearly put time and effort into most theme songs so they both add to a wrestler’s overall presentation and also fit them perfectly.

Picking just a top 10 is hard enough, let alone ranking them. Of course, this is a topic that will be very subjective, especially since AEW offers a whole load of brilliant entrance themes. AEW theme songs cover a range of different genres and styles, rather than just being carbon copy basic rock music which has sometimes been an issue in the professional wrestling world.

10 Adam Page - Ghost Town Triumph

“Hangman” Adam Page’s character incorporates lone outlaw and lonely cowboy themes, and his music of Ghost Town Triumph by Vincent Pedulla captures this all to glorious perfection.

Everything about Page’s presentation in AEW has been brilliant for the most part, but perhaps the most underrated element is his top tier entrance music. However, even with how good this is, there are still several that are better - and that is saying something.

9 The Elite - Carry On My Wayward Song

This is a classic song by Boston, and whilst the individual themes for both Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks could be entries of their own, it would be rude to not include the joint song of Carry On My Wayward Son.

The entire presentation of the entrance, with the lights coming after the first part of the song, is all wonderfully done, and it gets the crowd going every single time.

8 Darby Allin - I Fell

Darby Allin is one of the most unique entities in AEW, and the style of Wicca Phase Spring Eternal’s indie punk rock song I Fell fits with him perfectly.

This song has passion, fire, and a darker side, which is exactly what the character of Allin is all about. Pretty much all the lyrics in this song are absolutely perfect too. Allin certainly does a lot of "falling".

7 “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry - Tarzan Boy

There couldn’t be a more perfect song for the character of “Jungle Boy” than Tarzan Boy by Baltimora. This song may be nearly forty years old, but it doesn’t feel that way when thousands of fans are waving their arms and joining in with the chorus of oh-oh-oh’s.

It is the song of an ultra babyface, and that is exactly what he is. It is a joyous anthem which makes it feel like the biggest good buy in the company is walking to the ring.

6 Hook - Chairman’s Intent

Hook’s theme song is the definition of badass. Walking to the ring to Action Bronson instantly made Hook the coolest wrestler in the room, and his unforgiving nature and lack of fear is encapsulated with this music.

Seeing Action Bronson cameo with Hook in AEW and team up with him in a match at AEW Grand Slam too was a great way to make this song fit even better with Hook going forwards. It is a great song, catchy, and a classic.

5 FTR - Darkside Of T R

FTR’s throwback theme song is an ode to the likes of the Midnight Express with an updated and slightly modernized twist. However, the reason why this works so well is that it does feel old-school and classic.

The duo of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are a throwback team who rely on psychology and great tag team tactics, so to use a theme which brings all that together is brilliant. Even though it doesn’t have any lyrics, it is still catchy and fans react big every time it plays.

4 Chris Jericho - Judas

Chris Jericho AEW 3

There will be some fans who are perhaps a little tired of fans singing Judas each and every week, but it is hard to argue that the entrance theme is still among the best in AEW. Chris Jericho singing himself to the ring is perfect, particularly when he’s a heel.

The fact that live audiences do still sing this is testament to how beloved it is, even if sometimes it does feel slightly overdone and forced. The lyrics work well for heel Jericho too, with him being very much a “Judas” at times over the course of his professional wrestling.

3 Orange Cassidy - Jane

Orange Cassidy AEW

A song that Orange Cassidy used on the independent scene was brought over to AEW, and it is somehow even better than Where Is My Mind by the Pixies which was previously being used for Cassidy.

This song is not just catchy, but it captured the entire aura of the Cassidy character perfectly. Whilst the lyrics don’t necessarily mean too much when it comes to the character, the vibe of the song certainly does.

2 CM Punk - Cult Of Personality

Cult Of Personality by Living Colour has become synonymous with CM Punk over the years, and despite this being his music for such a long time in the likes of WWE and now AEW, it isn’t any less of a perfect song for him.

Punk’s entire career, personality, and more is summed up with this tune. Above all else, this is just a great song that the crowd loves singing along with. The riff at the start is perfect for igniting the crowd into a frenzy too.

1 Adam Cole - All About Tha (Boom!)

Adam Cole AEW 2

It could be a disputed number one pick, but Adam Cole’s music is one of, if not the best entrance theme in AEW today. It makes fans pop immediately upon hearing it sound out, it incorporates fan involvement with the “boom”, and it is timed perfectly to fit with Adam Cole’s great walk to the ring.

It brings over elements from his own Undisputed Era music in NXT but with a fresh taste making it ten times better. It is incredibly catchy and it is designed completely around him. It always helps when music is written specifically for one wrestler. It is one of Mikey Rukus’ best pieces of AEW work.
